It's evident to me that even if the majority of users are still not bots, the majority of the real people are trapped in mass psychosis black iron prisons to the point of becoming NPCs and then therefore effectively bots.

And combine most the real people with all the bots and, well, yeah...the Internet is kind of dead. To me.

Sometimes, I find myself wondering if Roger has spent any time in Detroit

I have.  It's not particularly weird, just old and busted.

I dunno, man, the party I went to in a house being squatted by crust punks was pretty weird.  They had a bdsm room and some dude was getting flogged pretty mercilessly.  Took me awhile to figure out if the toothpick the goth gave me had been dipped in LSD.  I was disappointed but it was probably for the better.   I ended up going dumpster diving with one of the crust punks.  They know who throws out the fanciest cheeses.

Having thus far sucessfully avoided tiktok, my curiosity is piqued.  Do I check it out or remain blissfully ignorant?

I would imagine somebody gets paid based on the number of posts their bots make.  Paid a little more for the number of replies their bot posts get.

well, I bought one and it's somewhat enjoyable - although, to be honest, i've only briped three times.  i find it's nice for motorcycle trips when you need to take a break, but you don't need gas and you're not hungry.  just find a shady spot with a bench or a picnic table and cook yourself up a bripe.

briping in public puts you in a weird head space, though, because you don't want anyone to see you and cast judgment like you know they will.  if anyone sees you, you're desperate for them to ask you, "what the fuck is that?" so you can explain that it's just this silly thing you bought cuz you thought it was silly.  but they never ask because they think you're probably doing drugs.  which, you sort of are.
