TESTEMONAIL: Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Our database started monitoring the Johnson County, Kansas Jail on May 13, 2012, and additonal counties and jurisdictions will be added to the site in the near future as we grow and expand! Additionally, even though BlabberMouth is currently a "for-profit" business, we intend to become a non-profit organization as soon as possible, as our goal is to not line our pockets with money from others, but to make the public aware of those living around them.
We want to make a difference in the community, and a better place for our children to grow up in! Unlike the unethical "Mugshot Industry" websites that are based out of Texas or Florida, and dig back into the archives of police departments across the country in the hopes of "getting rich quick" by putting people's pictures up online from 5-10 years ago, and then charging over $400 to remove them, we hope to make a positive impact on the Kansas City community by pulling the "Mugshot Industry" out of the cyber world and establishing it in the real world. We refuse to go back in time and pull up and archived records.
We are essentially separating ourselves from the "Mugshot Industry" and forming the "In-Your-Face" industry, with the goal of educating the public on the criminal activities going on in their neighborhood and to deter criminal action from happening.

Louisiana is embarking on the nation's boldest experiment in privatizing public education, with the state preparing to shift tens of millions in tax dollars out of the public schools to pay private industry, businesses owners and church pastors to educate children.
The school willing to accept the most voucher students -- 314 -- is New Living Word in Ruston, which has a top-ranked basketball team but no library. Students spend most of the day watching TVs in bare-bones classrooms. Each lesson consists of an instructional DVD that intersperses Biblical verses with subjects such chemistry or composition.
The Upperroom Bible Church Academy in New Orleans, a bunker-like building with no windows or playground, also has plenty of slots open. It seeks to bring in 214 voucher students, worth up to $1.8 million in state funding.
At Eternity Christian Academy in Westlake, pastor-turned-principal Marie Carrier hopes to secure extra space to enroll 135 voucher students, though she now has room for just a few dozen. Her first- through eighth-grade students sit in cubicles for much of the day and move at their own pace through Christian workbooks, such as a beginning science text that explains "what God made" on each of the six days of creation. They are not exposed to the theory of evolution.
"We try to stay away from all those things that might confuse our children," Carrier said.
Other schools approved for state-funded vouchers use social studies texts warning that liberals threaten global prosperity; Bible-based math books that don't cover modern concepts such as set theory; and biology texts built around refuting evolution
QuoteThe Louisiana Legislature passed a funding plan for public schools on the last day of session, but not before debate which included a discussion about what types of schools could benefit from Governor Bobby Jindal's voucher plan.
The plan makes vouchers or scholarships available to some students in low performing schools. The vouchers can be used to pay for tuition to some private schools.
Representative John Bel Edwards says the Islamic School of Greater New Orleans applied for inclusion in the voucher program. He says if the school is included, taxpayer money would be used to support Muslim teachings.
QuoteA fight over funding for the state's new voucher program caused a heated debate over an Islamic school.
The Louisiana House approved a funding plan for public schools on the last day of session. Before the approval, state Representative John Bel Edwards, D-Amite, spoke about the Islamic School of Greater New Orleans. The school was on the list of voucher applicants, but is no longer on the list.

QuoteWhile Mr Bosse did laugh before, his personality had significantly altered since the operation and he now laughed almost all the time, she claims.
"Sometimes it starts to get really annoying all that laughing the whole day," she said.
"When you are having a discussion and all he does is laughing, then it gets annoying."
Mr Bosse's wife said her husband did not seem to notice the change in his demeanour, but producers from Man Bijt Hond appeared to have trouble getting a straight answer out of him.
"I'm not saying anything," was all he would say about any change in his behaviour, before laughing uproariously.
QuoteIn the January 29 New York Times, [1] a prominent professor of child development shows that attention-deficit-disorder drugs only harm the three million children who take them. One out of 10 American children have been diagnosed with so-called Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and most of them have been medicated. [2]
Quote''Back in the 1960s I, like most psychologists, believed that children with difficulty concentrating were suffering from a brain problem of genetic or otherwise inborn origin. Just as Type I diabetics need insulin to correct problems with their inborn biochemistry, these children were believed to require attention-deficit drugs to correct theirs. It turns out, however, that there is little to no evidence to support this theory.''
QuoteSome months ago, the Times reported that test scores lagged in school districts that invested massively in digital education. [3] It does not seem to have occurred to the mandarins that computers cause attention deficit disorder. The brain is a machine, in the enlightened secular model, and so-called brain science teaches us to tweak its functioning with pharmaceuticals, or stimulate its development through digital approximations of intelligence. The grand result of a generation's worth of brain-science application is a generation of schoolchildren who are disproportionately illiterate, innumerate, anxious, angry, and unhappy.

Quote• Thousands more confidential cables could have been leaked by Manning were it not for a corrupted computer file, it was suggested in court. A computer forensics expert said he found a file containing 10,000 cables – none of which had been released by WikiLeaks. "When it was created something went wrong, there was a partial problem," David Shaver said.
• It was suggested that Manning had hoped to "remove the fog of war" by releasing hundreds of thousands of classified documents on Iraq and Afghanistan. A memory card found amongst the soldier's belongings after they were shipped back to his aunt's house contained 400,000 records of significant activities from Iraq and 91,000 from Afghanistan. A text document alongside the files stated: "This is possibly one of the more significant documents of our time. Removing the fog of war and revealing the true nature of 21st century asymmetrical warfare." Other files found on either the memory stick or Manning's laptop contained contact information for Julian Assange and instructions on how to upload data to WikiLeaks, the court was told.
• The court heard from Manning's former roommate Eric Baker, a military police officer, who said after learning Manning was gay he stopped talking to him apart from conversations about whether or not to turn off the lights. Baker seemed reluctant to say that Manning had no friends but he conceded he spent most of his time alone, as Manning's lawyer David Coombs attempted to underscore his client's isolation as a gay military man.
• There was more evidence of lax security at Forward Operating Base Hammer in eastern Iraq where Manning worked. No passwords were required to access the cables and there was no prohibition on downloading cables, the hearing was told. The USB ports on Manning's computers were blocked as part of army policy so he could not download material to a USB stick or load programs or information from one, but Manning had downloaded Roxio, a program for burning CDs, onto both of his computers.
• Daniel Choi, the US soldier who was discharged from the army after coming out, was removed from Fort Meade following a confrontation with military police. Choi was accused of heckling military police, but denied this when speaking to the Guardian. He said excessive force was used to remove him from the complex.
• Scott Olsen, the Iraq war veteran injured during an Occupy Oakland protest in October, has called for the UN Special Rapporteur for Torture to be allowed access to Bradley Manning to discuss his treatment. "I served my country as a US Marine in Iraq," Olsen said. "It pains me to think that fellow Marines were ordered to effectively torture a soldier who, by blowing the whistle on the killing of innocent civilians in Iraq, helped end that war."
Quote(Reuters) - North Korean leader Kim Jong-il died of a heart attack while on a train trip, state media reported Monday, sparking immediate concern over who is in control of the reclusive state and its nuclear program.
A tearful television announcer dressed in black said the 69-year old had died Saturday of physical and mental over-work on his way to give "field guidance."
...
South Korea, still technically at war with the North, placed its troops and all government workers on emergency alert, Yonhap news agency reported. But Seoul's Defense Ministry said there were no signs of any unusual North Korean troop movements.
"Up until tonight, if anybody had asked you what would be the most likely scenario under which the North Korean regime could collapse, the answer would be the sudden death of Kim Jong-il," said Victor Cha, a Korea expert with the Center for Strategic and International Studies think-tank in Washington.
QuoteStrauss-Kahn was initially charged with attempted rape after a hotel maid, Nafissatou Diallo, alleged he attacked her and forced her to perform oral sex. New York prosecutors dropped the charges after they said they lost confidence in Diallo, who has filed a civil case.
In the clips, Strauss-Kahn — the former head of the International Monetary Fund — exits an elevator, pays his bill and gets in a cab. BFM said those images were filmed about 20 minutes after the alleged May 14 assault. Strauss-Kahn, wearing a dark coat and wheeling a suitcase, does not appear hurried or nervous.
A separate segment BFM said was filmed about 40 minutes after the alleged attack shows Diallo slumped against a wall in a corridor reserved for hotel staff. The images are heavily pixelated, and it's impossible to make out the expression on her face.
At one point, she appears to act out the attack, grabbing her own breast and pursuing a colleague, her arms outstretched.
Diallo's lawyers insisted the images strengthen Diallo's case against Strauss-Kahn.
The "surveillance tape is further proof that Ms. Diallo is telling the truth about the brutal sexual attack," attorneys Kenneth Thompson and Douglas Wigdor said in a statement Thursday.
None of the images show either Strauss-Kahn or Diallo emerging from the suite in the Sofitel hotel where the attack allegedly took place because, BFM explained, there are no surveillance cameras on that floor.
The BFM clips broadcast do, however, include a brief sequence in which two Sofitel employees hug one another and do a joyful little dance as they confer in a dark basement corridor. Recent news reports pointed to the dance as evidence of an alleged political plot against Strauss-Kahn.
In a statement Thursday, Sofitel's parent company, French hotel group Accor, said "The idea that these videos prove Accor's involvement in a conspiracy is nonsense."
QuoteInserm's AVENIR "Genomic plasticity and aging" team, directed by Jean-Marc Lemaitre, Inserm researcher at the Functional Genomics Institute (Inserm/CNRS/Université de Montpellier 1 and 2), has recently succeeded in rejuvenating cells from elderly donors (aged over 100). These old cells were reprogrammed in vitro to induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) and to rejuvenated and human embryonic stem cells (hESC): cells of all types can again be differentiated after this genuine "rejuvenation" therapy. The results represent significant progress for research into iPSC cells and a further step forwards for regenerative medicine.
The results are published in the Genes & Development Journal dated 1 November 2011.
Human embryonic stem cells (hESC) are undifferentiated multiple-function cells. They can divide and form all types of differentiated adult cells in the body (neurones, cardiac cells, skin cells, liver cells, etc...)
Since 2007, a handful of research teams across the world have been capable of reprogramming human adult cells into induced pluripotent cells (iPSC), which have similar characteristics and potential to human embryonic stem cells (hESC). This kind of reprogramming makes it possible to reform all human cell types without the ethical restrictions related to using embryonic stem cells.
Until now, research results demonstrated that senescence (the final stage of cellular aging) was an obstacle blocking the use of this technique for therapeutic applications in elderly patients.
Today, Inserm researcher Jean-Marc Lemaitre and his team have overcome this obstacle. The researchers have successfully rejuvenated cells from elderly donors, some over 100 years old, thus demonstrating the reversibility of the cellular aging process.

The largest U.S. outbreak of measles to occur in 15 years -- affecting 214 children so far -- is likely driven by travelers returning from abroad and by too many unvaccinated U.S. children, according to new research.
The finding could highlight the dangers of a trend among some U.S. parents to skip the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine for their children, out of what many experts call misguided fears over its safety.
Dr. Andrew Pavia, professor of pediatrics at the University of Utah and spokesman for the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), said, "The good news is that we are seeing introductions of measles that are being contained as small outbreaks."
Pavia credits containment to high levels of vaccination and thevacci rapid response by public health officials. However, if an outbreak occurred in a "really susceptible population the outcome could be very different," he said.
QuoteThe FBI and the DEA have disrupted a plot involving Iran to commit terrorism inside the United States, a senior U.S. official told CNN Tuesday. QuoteScientists have developed a computerised mind-reading technique which lets them accurately predict the images that people are looking at by using scanners to study brain activity.
The breakthrough by American scientists took MRI scanning equipment normally used in hospital diagnosis to observe patterns of brain activity when a subject examined a range of black and white photographs. Then a computer was able to correctly predict in nine out of 10 cases which image people were focused on. Guesswork would have been accurate only eight times in every 1,000 attempts.
The study raises the possibility in the future of the technology being harnessed to visualise scenes from a person's dreams or memory.

QuoteCaptured, mutilated with a glue applied to seal the buttocks and then fed a powerful laxative. The result: a horrible way to die. According to what have been called unconfirmed but credible reports, this horrific form of torture is being used on Iraqi lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people as the fatwa against them gathers momentum and militias, ignited by their hatred of the West, wage a blood-curdling "moral" assault on a perceived corruption seeping into their country.
Reports Corroborated But Not Confirmed On Gay Iraqi Clamp-Down
It's important to be honest. Honesty, of course, requires a base-line of understanding, a pulse of facts, and if a base-line isn't known, honesty becomes in and of itself, useless. Getting facts, real, granite hard, verifiable facts, from a place like Iraq is nigh-on-impossible. But these are the facts [sic] as we know them. Over the last several weeks, reports have emerged of gay Iraqis being found dead in Shiite slums, and last week we reported on flyers being distributed warning that a wipe-out of LGBTs was imminent.
And now, the stain of blood leaking across continental borders has once again reached us, and it brings to us news of barbaric acts, of this unspeakable "anal glue" torture in the form of an article via the United Arab Emirates' media network Al-Arabiya. The network said:
"Iraqi militias have deployed an unprecedented form of torture against homosexuals by using a very strong glue that will close their anus ... an Iranian-manufactured glue that if applied to the skin, sticks to it and can only be removed by surgery. After they glue the anuses of homosexuals, they give them a drink that causes diarrhea. Since the anus is closed, the diarrhea causes death."

QuoteIt has always amazed me that these liberal media types who are shilling for Obama now don't realize that if the leftists get their way and drag us down into socialism, the 'liberal intellectuals', the fawning liberal media, and all the rest of those who are so much smarter than the rest of us, will be among the first people up against the wall to be mowed down by firing squad (or taken down to the basement of the KGB for a quick bullet at the base of the skull).
Have these fools never read a history book? Do they really not know that is what Lenin did with those (who were EXACTLY like their modern American liberal counterparts, I might add), the ones he called "useful idiots" who helped him seize power were summarily dispatched once they had ceased to be useful to him?
They may have delusions that they will be the "ones" the great man chooses to keep around, but the Gulag is ready and waiting for those that survive the first purges after they've finished trashing our Constitution and establishing Socialist Law, Sharia Law, or whatever abomination they decide to impose once they have the upper hand.
The liberal fools will NOT survive in that world, and if they do, they will wish they had not. This is the future they are eagerly trying to impose on the rest of us. And THEY are the ones who smirk and posture about how much 'smarter' they are than the rest of us? Intellectuals? Give me a break! They are delusional fools.

Rolling Stone Reporter Matt Taibbi's latest investigative report is being hailed as an eye-opening examination of Texas Congressman and Perennial Presidential Candidate Ron Paul. The story, titled "The Real Ron Paul" is rumored to have taken Taibbi a year to research. Taibbi is refusing to comment on the article until it's published. The article is so controversial Taibbi himself has denied writing it; prompting many to speculate that the article may end the political career of Paul. Two months prior to publication, Rollingstone is allowed the press early access to the three sections of the articles. Many agree that the article will create a firestorm around the already controversial Paul.
The article reveals an intense hatred of Paul's anti-government policies by his Democratic coworkers. Nancy Pelosi is quoted saying "To hear Ron Paul, a highly paid government official, say that the government is wasting money is like hearing Snoop Dog say he's tired of rappers smoking pot. The man has been in government for 35 years longer than 45% of Americans have been alive- face it the guy talks a big game but he has never, nor will he ever deliver."
More surprisingly the article reveals senior Republican leadership is growing increasingly annoyed by Paul's PR machine. A source close to Speaker of the House John Boehner is quoted in the article quipping "Ron Paul, a libertarian? I don't care what he claims to be- during votes he's a good boy and votes the way the adults tell him to." In fact, the article reveals multiple instances in which the Congressman compromises his principles by voting for stricter regulation, government expansions, harsher drug penalties, and annual pay raises for himself.
Paul's own staff are frustrated with Paul's lack of accomplishments. A former intern laments "I joined the to help audit the fed, but all i ended up doing was scheduling tv appearances for him to talk about the Fed and helping him write his book about auditing the Fed."

INDIANAPOLIS | Overturning a common law dating back to the English Magna Carta of 1215, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Hoosiers have no right to resist unlawful police entry into their homes.
In a 3-2 decision, Justice Steven David writing for the court said if a police officer wants to enter a home for any reason or no reason at all, a homeowner cannot do anything to block the officer's entry.
"We believe ... a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence," David said. "We also find that allowing resistance unnecessarily escalates the level of violence and therefore the risk of injuries to all parties involved without preventing the arrest."

Mozilla, maker of the open source Firefox browser, recently told the Department of Homeland Security that if you want to censor the Internet you better have a good reason or at least a legal justification. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the DHS' principal investigative arm, recently asked Mozilla to remove an add-on called MafiaaFire Redirector from the organization's Firefox add-ons site.
The government agency said MafiaaFire was circumventing a series of ICE domain seizures. MafiaaFire indexes seized domains and then redirect users to active sites that use the same name but now operate under a different Web address.
Mozilla posed a series of eleven questions to DHS about their request to take down MafiaaFire such as have any courts determined that MafiaaFire is illegal? Is Mozilla legally obligated to take down MafiaaFire? And, has the government talked to MafiaaFire about its concerns? So far, DHS has not responded to Mozilla's request for more information. Mozilla posed its questions to DHS on April 19.
QuoteI go to the University Of Florida. I see niggers down here grow in population by the day and every white girl here wants a nigger boyfriend... You won't fucking believe how ALL the nigger bucks here have a pretty white girlfriends... It's disgusting. I saw this one nigger today with one white girl. Then, Later on i saw him with another one... We made eye contact and of course he made that stupid nigger smirk as if he just won a trophy(Da white wimminz). They know it pisses us off. I see MANY wiggers to. I can't stand the horrible sight. How do these scum bags get into a university...? Fucking ashame we must live this way now...
Also since i'm a "White boi" with my own unique personality, style, etc... I get picked on a lot. We're fucking adults now, not kids... Then again when did niggers, wiggers, and coalburning whores start to act like adults? See, i'm a dude who has a style based off the rockstars of the 80's. I got long dyed black hair, I wear a bandanna under my hair, skinny jeans, band t-shirts, some leather stuff, etc...(I kinda look like Axl Rose but with dark hair.) So all these wiggers, niggers, and coalburners walk by making smart ass comments, they laugh and give me dirty looks... They've taken after their nigger pets... Fucking disgusting, They should be ashamed.
Sometimes i'll be polite and i'll hold the door open for the lady's. Obviously, they give me dirty looks, laugh at me, etc... And it turns out those are the same ones who are the niggers "girlfriends"... I see them holding hands while walking to class, flirting in the halls, and all of that bullshit. Sometimes they'll share their "music" on their phones. And of course it's all nigger noise... What the hell is so good about that noise anyways? Why not listen to Motley Crue or some Guns N' Roses? Maybe throw some Beach Boys and Beatles in there to...
Oh, And this is an almost ALL WHITEY school... When I moved I had to transfer to this school. I thought that since it was an almost all YT school that white culture would be more dominate here. Then again I forgot about the stupid fucking liberals who shoved this nigger loving shit down the throats of these people when they were kids. And the dating niggers thing is horrible... What's so attractive about fucking apes who can't speak over 100 words in the english dictionary? They don't even have real hair, it's just a bunch of fuzz. And the thoughts of holding hands with them is gross... I bet they feel all hard, dirty, and leathery unlike a humans hand which feels soft and smooth. Or should feel that way...
This place is out here more in the country. Why the fuck do wiggers and coalburners love the country so much yet they take nigger influence? Shouldn't they be living in nigtroit or other nigger fuxated places? Why the fuck are niggers moving here? And check this out... I ain't got no friends at the university because I ain't being friends with liberals and niggers... I got one good friend who is a metal-head and doesn't like niggers that much but that's it. I liked my old university better to tell the truth... It was mostly niggers but I had good nigger hating friends there. Even the most least expected were nigger haters. There were very few coalburners there and the niggers were under control alot of the time.
Niggers just have to ruin everything don't they...? My hatred for them grows everyday. I hate to even get up out of my bed to go to that school. I hate thinking about it. I feel like an outcast over there. Why do niggers get all of this attention and good treatment? I wish it were the 1920's again...
QuoteCatholic Friends:
The attached article by Father Sirico is worth reading if you think all Catholic leaders have gone mad:
QUOTE: "Here's the question Catholics need to ask themselves: Are the unions I support of the same type that are idealized in Catholic social teaching? Or have they changed to the point where they are unions in name only but actually just political machines for coercing workers and extracting money through the political process?"
Only one bishop (Bishop Morlino) has touched on this issue. The rest seem to be stuck in a time warp.

QuoteLawmakers in Tehran have recently proposed a bill in parliament that would criminalize dog ownership, formally enshrining its punishment within the country's Islamic penal code. The bill warns that that in addition to posing public health hazards, the popularity of dog ownership "also poses a cultural problem, a blind imitation of the vulgar culture of the West."
The criminalizing of dogs, in this context, helps the government address the legal gray areas concerning lifestyle behavior. When authorities found it difficult to police what it termed Westernized hairstyles worn by young men, it solved the problem last year by releasing a poster of specifically banned styles. These measures are a firm reminder that the government will brook no disobedience, whether it be chanting antigovernment slogans in the streets or sporting excessively long sideburns.

The Obama administration said today that it's moving ahead with a plan for broad adoption of Internet IDs despite concerns about identity centralization, and hopes to fund pilot projects next year.
At an event hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., administration officials downplayed privacy and civil liberties concerns about their proposal, which they said would be led by the private sector and not be required for Americans who use the Internet.
A 55-page document (PDF) released by the White House today adds a few more details to the proposal, which still remains mostly hazy and inchoate.
During his speech, Locke lashed out at the "conspiracy theory set" who have criticized the proposal. A column in NetworkWorld.com, for instance, called NSTIC a "great example of rampant, over-reaching, ignorant, and ill-conceived political foolishness."

QuoteDear Friend of Liberty,
As many of you know, the much-anticipated April 15th release of the Atlas Shrugged film is less than a week away! Based on Ayn Rand's classic novel which celebrates limited government, free markets and individual liberty, Atlas Shrugged is being called a made for Tea Party film.
Find a theater near you showing Atlas Shrugged!
Maybe that's because as millions of Tea Party supporters have rallied over the past two years, many have brought with them signs like those above—referencing Atlas Shrugged. As you rally on April 15th for your lo cal Tax Day protest, I urge you to go see this important film.
The film is set in a not-so-distant future in which government has taken control of the means of production, bureaucrats have impose harmful regulations on businesses and turmoil in the Middle East has sent oil prices skyrocketing. Sound familiar?
On April 15th, Atlas Shrugged will be released in 300 theaters across America—but even more theaters are lined up if we can demonstrate our support for this film.
Click here to see where the film is playing near you! If you can't find a showing close to you, demand that the film is shown in your town.
I urge you to take your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to see this important film on April 15th. Many activists are already organizing to go see the film right now on FreedomConnector. Atlas Shrugged has the opportunity to introduce millions more around the world to the philosophy of freedom. But if that's going to happen—if this life-changing film is going to be shown in thousands of theaters—we need your help.
As thousands of liberty-minded grassroots activists gather across America for Tax Day protests on April 15th, go see Atlas Shrugged. If it's not yet being shown near you, demand that your theater shows Atlas Shrugged. Thank you for all your e fforts and tireless support.

QuoteNow there's an interesting trend in China's film and television industry: more and more time-travel themed dramas are made and aired. In these time-travel based TV plays, usually the protagonist is from the modern time and for some reasons and via some means, travels through time and all the way back to the ancient China where he/she will constantly experience the "culture shock" but gradually get used to it and eventually develop a romance in that era. Though obviously the Chinese audience is found of this genre of shows, the country's authority -General Bureau of Radio, Film and Television, to be exact, is not happy about this trend and calls a halt to the making of this type of drama.
