Title: clocks
Post by: Meunster on September 24, 2015, 04:48:42 AM
So I made a few clocks recently.

My teachers didn't like them.

I think it would be funny if a person were to get arrested and detained for an exceptionally intricate steampunk fetish. They might accidentally, but actually, bring a bomb to school made of clockwork when they decide to misuse a large high-pressure CO2 canister to grossly overpower a VERY poorly designed apparatus intended to be decorative and cool looking. Good thing it exploded in the steampunker's locker when the evil and repressive regime running the school told him, forced him, to remove it while in class. Could bury a bunch of brass gears in a brick wall if they were heavy and sharp enough.

So you know Meunster I'm going pretty far from an actual parody or "fan fiction" with the story of Barry, but I will eventually get a similar concept short story that is a bit of intentional parody out first. See, if it was "ME" sending an angel into your "life" I wouldn't send a Cherub. That would just be silly, and I could use a good warm up story to get me started.  :)

How can you slam the steampunk community so hard in one paragraph?

Also cool, I turned the idea into a mlp fanfic and am giving updates to my small fanbase of autistic neets who will suck dick for green.

Because I like steampunk and am subconsciously conflicted from all the repression.

Have at. Also tricking autistic people into sexual favors with their favorite color is extra squicky Muenster.

Shit, gotta tone down the 4chan lingo.
Green is just stories on 4chan the stories have a weird format and are in green text.

Just cut down 4chan.

That said, sometimes the green text stories are pretty funny:

Here's the thing, Muenster:  Nobody is going to seriously engage in a conversation with someone who will go from "reasonable" to "sarcastically trying to humiliate you" three times a day with no warning.

I don't know if you're trying to be edgy or if there's something wrong with you.  I don't care.  You aren't fun to talk to, because of it.

Probably just I've learned to chat in a way that doesn't mesh with yours.

But I just a humble mind, and the more of your conversations I feed on the more I will become what I eat. And in under a month I will blend in and be a pleasant human being.

That's irrelevant. The point is, we aren't interacting in person so it doesn't fucking matter what you're like in person. At all. The only thing that's relevant here is how you interact here.

Though I will say that I have met many people irl who I initially liked online, and now we are friends. Including the man with whom I share a bed. So, not being socially repugnant online does have irl ramifications.

Or as you kids say, she wants her yam candied.

:lulz:

The bad news for her is that the only yam I'm candying these days is Alty's.

But it's Bi People Week! We gotta candy yams! For the bi-people.

:lulz: I figure that since I'm bisexual, and Alty's bisexual, we are candying the SHIT out of some bisexual yams together.

Well there you have it. Dawkins won't be apologizing for slander until kid admits that wasn't a clock he built or modded, but a diabolical engine for national-scale fraud. Clearly.

Dawkins is a piece of shit, his prior work notwithstanding.

He must feel super smart, pitting his intellect against a 14-year-old child like that.

I would hope he has the good sense not to feel intellectually superior to a 14 year old until he does something that actually makes him look like the superior intellect of the two.

Dawkins just wants us to know that this smudgy kid didn't invent the clock.   :lulz:

Dude, my brain cannot understand the amount of white, 40-something year old adults on Facebook who are bitter at a 14 year old brown boy.

It's like, weird and pathetic.

Well the latest news is that Ahmed is moving to Qatar to pursue his education (I don't blame him) and so cue a bunch of people screeching "SO THE U.S. ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR YA NOW, MR. FANCY PANTS?!".

I already know that the US is racist as fuck, but to see it targeted at a child by adults is really disgusting.

It is a segment of the population that is having a lot of trouble with part of the new normal.  They're really upset about all of this, and they can't have that kid running around doing stuff.

I think it's basically stemming from the whole "Brown people shouldn't rock the boat! They should be quiet and complacent and invisible!" thing.

They also shouldn't have any money or political aspirations, at least going by the people who thought "his family is actually pretty well off and his dad is trying to become President of Sudan" are trump cards in discussing him.  Lol Trump, I bet he's a "clock truther".

i have 13 clocks.

one of them i made - it's a hammer sillhouette on a red octagon (get it?  get it?)

i also really like my "kit kat" clock
(http://thumbs2.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mgq91QCEl-G17Dhnijjz0yQ.jpg)

i'd really like to get an hour glass or two.  like real ones that actually take an hour.  do they count as a clock?  i also have a metronome - it's kind of like a clock, I guess.

One of my favorite Clutch songs is called "The Regulator"  -  which is a type of clock.  My grandmother had one on her wall - I always like that clock, too.

It looked like this:

I always thought it was cool how the Roman numeral "4" was IIII instead of IV - like, what's up with that??
