The POEE Baptismal Rite is another favorite
It's definitely a nod towards Crowley's Gnostic Mass :fap:

WTF are these pebbles for?  :lulz:

In Search Of The Miraculous and Meetings With Remarkable Men are my two favorites, I think.

Is it hypocritical to not be hypocritical?

Are Elohim, Allah, Yahweh and Jehovah friends or enemies?

Is the Principia Discordia your favorite tv show?

What is the ultimate goal of immortality?

Is there an after-after-after-after-afterlife?

Rotational Schizophrenic Politics is the best!:
one second the politician is conservative, then they're progressive, then they're alt-left, then they're libertarian, then they're Marxist, then they're communist, then they're full alt-right, then they're fundamentalist  :lulz: :lulz:

It's not exactly a serious thread, but whatever.

The Christianism vs Satanity thing, is interesting; as there are many people that fuse religions together in a 'customer order' way, I find the notion of this hilarious (particularly for orthodox, conservative Christians)

Quote"Hello, I am a Christian and love Jesus. I was wondering if Christianity is comparable with Satanism because I am starting to find Satanism attractive. Can I be both a satanist and a christian?"

Also, Christianism isn't Christianity, Satanity isn't satanism  :lulz:

Explaining the joke though.......aye, the only way you'll follow my train of thought?  I thought we where discordians

According to the internet I am a 93% match for UU-ism. Maybe I'll check it out. It's probably the closest thing I've seen to the "atheist church" I keep hoping will spring into existence. The real obstacle is that with everything tilted toward "moral support", what are the chances there's any high-protein-content spiritual guidance going on? I'm not really looking for religious authority, but it would be cool if there was a place that could teach me how to astral-project myself into the white house and force-choke someone.

What online test is that?

I've been trying a few and none come up with my actual practices  :lulz:

I got Seventh day Adventist in one and Buddhist in the other  (Buddhist is way closer but still not close enough)

I joined a church? It's weird. The local UUs are, strange as this may sound, very nearly our kind of people. Like, the chair of the worship committee described it as "the church for people who burst into flames walking into other churches." Nobody talks about an afterlife. At. All. Nobody asks God to cure anybody of anything, nobody advocates being nice and letting sky pixies sort it out. The weekly prayer always includes something to the effect of "give us the balls to go fix this shit." The collection plate gets shared with lawyers who advocate for victims of sexual assault and charities serving Puerto Rico, the meeting hall gets used for meet the candidate events, and there are rainbow flags at the door and next to the altar. They hold discussions about systemic racism and white supremacy, they hold vigils on trans remembrance day, there are pagan-y services and the name tags include pronouns. The minister is a petite trans dude and the first time I saw him was at the pop-up "oh shit Nazis" in our town, and the first time I went in for a service was after those nazi fucks showed up in Boston and I cried like a bitch.
They really, genuinely, care about The Work, and they want to support the people doing it, and they want to do more of it themselves while keeping themselves sane. And yeah, they're not perfect, but they're queer and they're nice and they give a fuck and they fall down and get back up.

It's still super weird, you guys.

Unitarian Universalists? yep, they're cool  :)

Real simple equation, here.
Christians won't stop vomiting their hate-filled word salad at kids in school just because the Atheists said so, and an atheist can't threaten anything that the jeebusfreak is scared of. Lawsuit? Big deal! My church has a legal fund for this kind of thing. Violence, vandalism, disruption? Super easy to get the cops to take the "disruptive citizen" out of the meeting you're trying to stop them opening with a prayer.
But you know who can threaten shit they believe in? The Devil.
"If you don't get the fuck off the football field with your prayers, we're gonna arrest you and your name will be in the paper and Pat Robertson will make you fucking famous" isn't a deterrent.
So you can't play by YOUR OWN rules here -- YOU'VE GOT TO PLAY BY THEIRS.
What are these simpering fucknozzles afraid of?
That's right, boys and grills: the satyr under the bed.
"If you don't stop handing out your little god-pamphlets, then Mister Satan gets to hand out coloring books!"
It's the only thing that shuts them down.
Look how quickly they cave when TST brings that stupid bronze statue of Baphomet to their little one-horse towns!
Sometimes, when junior's afraid of the monster in the closet, the easiest way to keep him in bed is to tell him it's real.
It's all OM.

True, it is quite a political thing (however whiny it looks). There are still a lot of places where Christianity is socially and legally held in much higher esteem than other religions.

Namaste and Om to you too  8)

If you're going to by the Principia Discordia, make sure you buy the pamphlet version which has all the pages printed on a single, double-sided piece of paper

Book of Worms and the 50 Names of Marduk were fun. If he made those up... wow.

One word: Plagiarism

Done in a way that is convincing to Lovecraftianites but otherwise not. There are parts of the book are derived from rituals that do work (with Cthulhu inserted in), but it is the kind of book that Occultists scoff at and that superstitious paranormal people think is legitimately real.  :lulz:
