Anything that had a copyright on it before I got my grubby paws on it retains those things. If I forget to credit you, please yell and I will correct it.

Anything I create, write, draw, or mash together is yours to use however you like on the strict conditions that you do not credit me in any way.

It's a fictional religion started in the 1950s as a joke that got way the hell out of control and implanted itself into our reality. It has no meaningful definition, no hierarchy, and no membership. It's about accepting the fact that the world is a chaotic, nonsensical place and making your own happiness within that, or it's about the forces of destructive order battling the forces of creative disorder, or it's about how we are able to perceive the universe; or it's just a bunch of stuff scribbled in the margins. Also, you're a Pope. Good luck with that.

Anyone who doesn't believe birds are dinosaurs needs to go see an ostrich in person. First time I saw one I was struck by the inside of the wing, where you can clearly tell it's just an arm with some feathers glued on. Really, though, the T-Rex feet on pigeons should suffice.

Not embedded because it breaks the fuck out of your layout. If there's demand for it I can make lower-res copies for posting online, these are ginormous for printing purposes.

ETA: imageshack is dead, fuck those guys forever. Uploading to imgur and replacing links as I go.

MORE ETA: Most of these images were made before I gave two shits about copyright. I've gotten better, but the old work hasn't all been replaced with responsibly-sourced stuff yet. I'll do my best to include big warnings for the versions that are not kopyleft and replace what I can.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I love pamphlet design!  :fap:

So, what's the actual pitch on these? Are you trying to recruit existing discordian leaning peoples to the forums, or convert normal cabbages?

Would it be possible to do something where the older essays were integrated with new material and repackaged as a full book, silly and serious and all? Not full pages copied as-is from the PD and BIP with tidbits at the end, that didn't work well in the Steve Jackson release IMO. I only ask because I'm mostly done with a personal project on that theme, and having a substantial amount of layout work done tends to help people move a little faster on submissions.

Also, I can totally do layout, if no one else has called dibs.

I would argue that you can be a Discordian inasmuch as someone can be a Christian, but you cannot be a Discordian in the same way that you could be Catholic. A Discordian1 would be a person who believes in some or all of the Discordian belief set and lives by it to some extent, whereas a Discordian2 would be a member of a practicing body with structure and whatnot. Any group of Discordians1 could attempt to create an organization of Discordians2, but by its nature it would not be something that included all Discordians1 and therefore could not be a definitive answer to who is and who is not Discordian, and so they'd end up being something else altogether: Discordianchurch of the hyperbolic metaphor or something.

I'd like to put in my vote for existence getting absorbed into the supercontext and the larval forms of humanity being shed for the whatever-we-become once we escape the incubator of reality.

Or, you know, zombies. Whatever.

That's from New Hampshire? weird. My impression of them is that they're fiscal conservatives, not social conservatives. New Hampshire is the second least religious state in the union. The average NH republican is more pro-choice than the national average. So I doubt it'll pass.
I love NH, but they've got some special crazy there. You have to remember that a lot of the population in the southern part of the state is folks who really want to be in Boston but don't want to do things like pay taxes or way too much for a tiny apartment. The further north you go, the more redneck-y it gets, but the population density also goes down to next to nothing.

Dear Cain's Brain,

Your prophecies appear to be coming true (re: Republican candidates).

(Herman) Cain: Confused, inarticulate, wandering hands. Gone.
Bachmann: Insane. Gone. (Maybe she could get a job at the US Embassy in Iran?)
Gingrich: Unlikeable in every way.
Paul: Great if your libertarian, bad if you're not a racist asshole.
Perry: Insane and getting worse. I wonder if any of the soldiers peeing on the corpses were gay. That would be weird.
Santorum: Insane...possibly a communist. At least according to his Italian relatives that he doesn't visit anymore.
Romney: The candidate the GOP will foist upon the republican voters like it or not.
Huntsman: Gone...but probably not completely yet.

Palin: I'm not running...OR AM I???? :ohnotache:
Huntsman dropped out officially on Monday, he endorsed the inevitable.
