The Suburban Book of the Dead.
Think of it as a volume of the collected wisdom/asshattery of all present, but NOT tuned to the general public. More of a users assistance manual for established Discordians/Subgenii. It's also - by necessity - going to be MUCH longer than the average Discordian work.

Well, I'm gonna need a lot of assistance, to be perfectly honest. I am uninitiated in the mysteries of dealing with PDF demons, and this isn't supposed to be a one man show...it's supposed to be ALL of us, even if that means that the subject material contradicts itself (all the good holy books do, after all).
I wouldn't mind editing it, but this ain't about me.
I am also very willing to contribute in any way that is best suited and needed.

Both. I plan to search the archives AND write new stuff.
I hope everyone else does the same.
Please post new stuff and old finds in this forum under its own name, with (SBOTD) after the title.
I'll see about arranging it, and LMNO/whomever can put it into PDF form after we've settled on the final product.

I can do grunt work editing, if it means fixing spelling and grammer and reading for flow or what not.
I have no real expirence nor qualifcations, other than I know the basic rules of English grammer. Just shoot something my way that needs to be edited, and Ill play around with it and you tell me how I do?
I'm kinda hit and miss with 'write to order' but gimme any suggetsions and I'll see what I can come up with. I'd would like to reiterate - anything I write here is public domain. Feel free to cut and paste - no permission necessary.
I'm very much interested but I'd like to know if there should be any further red threads than what posted in the OP and how much my latest rants differ from what would be 'suitable'.

Then the whole mishegoss goes to the cutting room, so be sure to nominate several things.
I'll try and write some stuff over the holidays, but I should point out I'm going to be without a PC from the 16th of this month to the 6th of Jan (though I may get to a library now and then). I'll keep notes, but I don't know when I'll be able to write them up.

I have all the recoomended reading for this kind of endeavor, and I know how to "write", but I lack direction. Where, in more precise terms, should I take this?
