This internet list caught my attention this afternoon:

"All The GOP Lawmakers Telling Trump To Drop Out After His Felony Conviction"

"These are the Republican leaders standing up and putting country before party."

As per the article:

"(This list will be updated as the GOP statements come pouring in.)"

Please note, at the time of this initial posting, it's a short list.

Principia Discussion / Have a Sweet Syaday!
May 31, 2024, 02:58:10 PM
It is the first Sweetmorn in the season of Confusion, in the Year of Our Lady of Discord 3190. And, once again it's time to celebrate the Patron Saint of the season, Apostle Sri Syadasti. (Actually, his full name is much, much longer, but I'm too lazy to write it all out.)

Anyway, as it is written in our Wholly Holy Principia Discordia:

"His name is Sanskrit, and means: All affirmations are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense."

So, it really does make perfect sense that Sri Syadasti is the Patron Saint of the season of Confusion.

Hail Eris! All Hail Discordia!

May 29, 1953 - First Confirmed Successful Ascent and Decent of Mount Everest

Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay became the first confirmed humans to stand on the highest point of planet Earth, and return to tell about it.

The peak of Mount Everest has since become a high priced tourist attraction, high altitude graveyard, and a garbage dump. But, that first successful ascent was looked upon as an act of exploration.

Quote from: ein Gefrorener Würfel on May 27, 2024, 11:09:09 PMSo true. Truer words have never been issueded. The truthiness is supreme. But just a question, springing from the depth of my confused, mostly caused by the few shots of Jaegermeister, you should drink it at room temperature to get experince all the flavours, mind - this is not an endorsement to drink alkohol, which is proven to cause cancer, and I'm quite sure my fathers cancer was caused by it, but rather just an excuse for my confusement, what is the reason, and I'm not intending to critique anyone here, that you, again no criticisim, are using, this is an interesting word, it is both an everyday word to indicate an action, but also a way to describe the superiority or exploitative Actions of someone. Just saying.

Well ... now I'm confused too, as I don't understand your question. And, this is only the beginning of the second day of the aptly named Season of Confusion. Even worse, I'm still completely sober on this, our Memorial Day Holiday.

Hail Eris! All Hail Discordia!

'Tis the beginning of the season of Confusion in the Year of Our Lady of Discord 3190.

'Tis once again the season when we of our faithlessness are to be reminded, "Forasmuch as it was Active, the Force of Discord entered the State of Confusion, wherein It copulated with the Queen and begat ERIS, Our Lady of Discord and Gross Manifestation of the Nonexistent Chao." And, thus this doctrinal Discordian dogma, from The Book of Uterus of The Honest Book of Truth, is duly documented for eternal remembrance in our Wholly Holy Principia Discordia.

Hail Eris! All Hail Discordia!

Those tech savvy entrepreneurs have developed yet another technological wonder, this time for the personal healthcare products marketplace. This new high-tech device will allow you to look at your teeth, up close and personal, while you're brushing them.

"Video-enabled toothbrush offers a fresh look at your teeth"

As per the article:

"ONVI claims the Prophix is the first-ever video toothbrush. It is aimed at allowing users to see the condition of their teeth and to better understand their oral health. In order to do this, it pairs with an accompanying iOS app via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. There's an Android version of the app in development.

The Prophix features an in-built camera capable of capturing 1080p video that allows users to watch a live feed of their brushing via the app and see if they are missing any spots. It's also able to capture 10-megapixel photos that can be saved via the app so as to track the condition of areas of interest in the mouth over time."

Here's the link:   The Video-enabled Toothbrush

Also, as per the article:

"The Prophix is available for pre-order at a discounted price of US$299, with the eventual retail price to be set at $399. It is scheduled to ship in the first quarter of next year."

So, if the ol' bathroom mirror just isn't good enough for your tooth brushing needs, this may be the product for you.

May 21, 1941 - Malaclypse the Younger, a.k.a. Mal-2, and Gregory H. Hill Was Born

Our Lady of Discord personally inspired the author of our sacred Principia Discordia, the other exalted co-founder of Discordianism, who was also a revered member of the infamous 1960s Counterculture.

May 11, 1997 - Deep Blue Beat World Champion Chess Grand Master Garry Kasparov

Kasparov resigns after 19 moves in a game against Deep Blue, a chess-playing computer developed by scientists at IBM. This was the sixth and final game of their match, which Kasparov lost two games to one, with three draws.

AI has come a long way against MBI (Meat-based Intelligence) since 1997.

I guess Fox News the Ministry of Propaganda didn't want to devote all of their 'news coverage' to TFG's first criminal trail on Thursday. So, they included the following article:

"Las Vegas alien video's previously missed detail proves 'authenticity,' expert says: 'You can't deny it'"

As per this article:

"When a Las Vegas family told police they saw something "not human" in their backyard, they were not lying, a veteran crime scene recreation expert said.

Scott Roder, of Evidence Room Animation and Exhibits, used his expertise and motion tracking software to analyze the video of a purported UFO crash landing in Sin City in April 2023.

He told NewsNation they tried to "debunk" the responding officers' bodycam footage or prove something was added to the video.

Now, he said he is convinced there were two creatures creeping around the family's Las Vegas yard that night. "All of our results came back as authentic," Roder said. "There's no editing. That is an original video.""

If you can't trust the Ministry of Propaganda on stuff like this, who can you trust? Anyway, after spending who knows how much time getting here, from who knows where in the universe, it's perfectly understandable that alien space visitors would want visit Vegas for a little R&R. It's just too bad that, after navigating their way through the Milky Way, they couldn't find their way to the Las Vegas Strip. I'm sure any one of the many casinos there would have been more than happy to 'comp' them plenty of food, drinks, casino chips, and a luxury hotel suite for as long as they wanted to stay.

"RFK Jr. claims doctor said parasite 'ate' part of his brain"

As per this article:

"Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s campaign on Wednesday responded to a New York Times report that described an incident where the independent candidate claimed a doctor told him that a parasitic worm was found in his brain more than a decade ago.

In a 2012 deposition during a divorce from his second wife, Kennedy revealed that a doctor found a dead parasite in his brain -- one of multiple health conditions Kennedy said may have caused what he described in the deposition as "cognitive problems" he had experienced at the time, according to according to The New York Times."

And, further along in this article:

"Doctors interviewed by ABC News clarified that these types of parasites don't actually eat brain tissue. Rather, they absorb nutrients passively before dying."

I've heard some people say, 'All publicity is good publicity.' But, this headline leads me to believe that 'some people' are wrong. And, I have to wonder, why are those 'Doctors interviewed by ABC News' so certain that some, or maybe even a lot, of RFK Jr.'s brain wasn't eaten? I mean, I'm not the least bit surprised that this guy has had brain problems.

This, of course, is a logical piece of merch for the MAGAt minions. If they're going to wear diapers at their rallies, and claim that 'Real Men Wear Diapers,' it makes sense that they should buy a special brand.

So, here they are:   The Donald's Leak Protecting Adult Diapers][/b]

WARNING: They are pricey. And, they come with a disclaimer that says, *FOR NOVELTY USE ONLY*, but TFG should be advertised with the same warning.

High Weirdness / Snakes Almost On a Plane
May 07, 2024, 01:52:59 PM
I'm not a snake person. But, even if I were, my pants are, pretty much, the last place I would put one.

"Snakes almost on a plane: TSA discovers a bag with small snakes in passenger's pants"

As per this article:

"According to an X post by the Transportation Security Administration, officers at the Miami International Airport found the small bag of snakes hidden in a passenger's trousers on April 26 at a checkpoint."

Now, I can't help but wonder if this passenger told the TSA officers that they were 'emotional support snakes.'
