$23.99, eh? Wonder what Ratzinger's cost. We could do the Vatican a cost cutting favor and send them this link.

Discordian Recipes / Icecream debauchery
June 02, 2010, 07:45:16 AM
So, I just submitted a couple of pics to womp. This was one of them:

Judging from apartment and approximate age, I can give you the following recommendations to replicate the smug look on your own.

Warning: at the time of this pic, I weighed ~155 lbs. I now weigh 182. Please consult the thread "How not to be a fat bastard" before proceeding, and for the love of god, use sparingly:

Based on guess work, here's what you'll need:

Several scoops of ice cream, preferably chocolate chip or moose tracks, but really whatever you like
Peanut butter
Chocolate syrup
Ground cinnamon
Reese's peanut butter cups or candy of choice
Jimmies/sprinkles/whatever you call the chocolate flavored bits wherever you come from
Whipped cream
Whatever else you want (as noted in colcannon thread, I wing it based on what I have)
Cherries if you have them. Fresh is better, but those jar ones will suffice (I already ate the cherries at the time of the pic. They were fresh. It was July.)

Put icecream into the bowl.
Apply four globs of peanut butter
Apply jimmies/sprinkles (optional step- after whipped cream)
Apply chocolate syrup
Add whipped cream
Throw on candy, cinnamon and cherries as well as any other toppings

Sit down and eat cherries, find a place to put the pits
Finish the rest of the bowl
Groan in delight
Go into diabetic coma

When you wake up, go for a long walk.

Post note:
I really don't have much of a sweet tooth- I prefer salty (hence peanut butter) or spicy. But man, sometimes you need the sugar rush. Here's your fix. Especially that now that the weather is warming up (if you're not in Australia, of course)

RWHN is right.

Wonder what caused it. To keep this thread fun, I recommend wild speculation.

Big Muff?
My husband knows how to make clones of that pedal. He builds synths n stuff of that nature.

That was actually owned by the recording engineer we were working with at the time for an EP we were recording. If you'd like to discuss gear, send me a PM (or flat out ask me here, it's my womp thread after all).

Awesome experience btw. Dude knew how to make the most of my tones. Any musicians in the Boston area- I recommend Richard Marr of Galaxy Park Studios (in Allston) for recording purposes.

Actually, I think she stepped on too many sequins.

Oh, that's bad. It's like glitter. You never get rid of it, even if you've never used it (have 13 year old sister).

IM ONLY EATING THE CERTIFIED ORGANIC HUMANS  :argh!:

So...none?

Well perhaps Africans count as organic, but that's fucked up.
Enjoy the transfat.

You missed the spagbook thread.

Why do they always go for the jumpshot, when a simple layup will do it?

I didn't post directly to spagbook simply because I saw other womp threads going on.

So i read that I'm not an actual member until I've posted pictures and been WOMPed. So I'm a good sport and I dont even know what WOMPing is, but I bet I hope I am about to find out. Because I have already discovered myself to be in the right place.

PS. I am not dating that girl, these pictures are a few years old.

Near as I can tell, WOMP stands for Wrath of MS Paint.

Sometimes he gets to do 2 out of 3 at the same time, and the foundations of the forum quake.

One day, I will hit the trifecta.

Take a date out to an Indian restaurant, then take her home, and jump on here while she's sleeping. That ought to do it.

Ho ho!

Your sobs will bring joy to my nether regions.

But not just yet.  I ate some Bhuna chicken, and my stomach has declared independence.

I'll let you know when I am ready to fly the white flag. I await the first siege.

I'm too wiped out right now to concentrate long enough to isolate your face from the pics.  Later.

I'm in no rush Dok, like you said, it will come later.

Bring and Brag / Twid's band playing in Salem, MA
June 02, 2010, 03:18:32 AM
Anarchangel at the Dodge Street Bar and Grill with 51 Shortfalls, Rocket Rocket, and Jimi Halfdead and the Die-Alongs.

June 19th, doors at 8:15 pm
7 Dodge St, Salem MA

21+ $5 cover

I've played shows with both 51 Shortfalls and Jimi Halfdead (51 Shortfalls with Anarchangel, and JHatDA with my previous band). 51 Shortfalls is pretty energetic, and we're friends with them. I remember being somewhat ambivalent but nonetheless entertained by Jimi Halfdead and the Die-Alongs. I don't recall ever seeing Rocket Rocket, but I've heard of them.

If you have nothing to better to do that night, or would like to show up even if you do, you are most welcome. I'm under the understanding that we're headlining, but will keep you posted if anyone is interested in coming.

Revelation:  I have leftover bangers from cookout yesterday.  I msut make this mash now.

whazzabanger?

Sausages, basically. Irish sausages and bacon are a little different than their American counterparts.
