Yeah apparently her kid can't handle it anymore...melting down on TikTok.

Trump's Koch Brothers handler is out...so...maybe we'll be in for a pleasant surprise at the RNC. They can't even PROP trump up anymore he's shat the bed so bad.

I think it would take an indictment to get anybody's attention at this point.

I seem to recall him initially distancing himself from both of them as well. When the arrests are made, it's all "I don't know them, they were only a small portion of my campaign, hangers-on really, I never liked them". When the trial's about to finish, it's "oh, this is very sad, they are being treated very unfairly by the courts".

This is probably more accurate. Maybe it was Cohen that i was thinking of at first. But yeah it's "i don't know anything about their activities but they're treated unfairly"

And Trump has already began distancing himself: https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2020/08/20/trump-steve-bannon-indicted-border-wall-fundraising-vpx.cnn

Might be worth noting that when stone and manafort got indicted he was sympathetic (feigned) to their predicaments. He's just flat out denying responsibility this time around. But we'll see?

Can't pardon state crimes. https://www.nysenate.gov/newsroom/in-the-news/todd-kaminsky/ny-ends-double-jeopardy-loophole-presidential-pardons

If trump pardons, mail fraud can still be charged by the state...along with a prison sentence.

QuoteI understand why, though.  Humans are horribly black-and-white creatures, and nuance is entirely lacking in American politics.  I have no idea how to convey the message of "this guy is a poor candidate, and you must vote for him anyway".  My brain simply isn't wired to look past negatives.

You and many, many others

which is exactly why it's so troubling

Meanwhile, the MAGA freaks do nothing BUT look past his negatives.

Guess which one is in fact the winning strategy?

This.

basically:
:peedee:

Liberals         MAGA          Anyone with any trace of empathy

Trolling used to be funny before it became a political platform.

Here in the year 2020, I am reflecting on how I can unseat the Donald Trump in my heart. For I, too, am governed by a materialistic narcissist, a petty tyrant and strongman dictator, a dominator and coward, who often overrides my better nature. Trump's power doesn't come from him, it comes from similar energies present within all of us.

recently i heard Dr. Cornel West describing empathy as having "to be able to open your ego enough in order to get out of your narcissistic predicament and connect with somebody else"

That phrase "narcissistic predicament" really stuck with me...then i saw this lol.

the axios interview made my brain leak out of my ear a little bit

in the past, we used to celebrate these "emperor's new clothes" moments

Right? Now the emperor just runs about waving his dick in people's faces...sometimes he trips and finds himself at Walter Reed.
