I didn't know where to post this thread on this site.  I want as much input as possible, so am posting this on several Discordian sites and on a public board here.

One thing I want for Intermittens 7 Operation Mindfuck ( see http://www.principiadiscordia.com/forum/index.php?topic=19605.0 for more including my contact info) is a list of all the commonly known OMs (don't want to give away any secret ones that are still in progress--remember, this is a public board).  I put the name of the OM, a very brief and very crappy description just so you have some idea what I'm talking about, and who I think began it and when I think it began.

Please put your additions and corrections in this thread. Thanks.

Anti-Protests (absurd protests, such as picketing a movie theatre because they don't show porno): begun by ????? and began when?
Book Om or Bookgasm (sneaking Discordian books into jails, prisons, libraries): Eccentric Discordians in 2007
Colbertgasm (getting Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert to publicly say something about Discordia/Illuminati): who began it in 2008?
Culture Jamming (anti-commercialism movement): Negativeland (based on JAMs or The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, which became a real band name) (don't remember when it began, but can probably look it up)
Erister Egg Hunt or EggGASM: Pinky McFatFat (simultaneously named Erister Egg Hunt by Mythics of Harmonia and EggGASM by Professor Cramulus) began in March 2008
Flash Mobbing (group appears from nowhere for some odd purpose, then suddenly disappears): Bill Wasik in 2003
Gasm Gasm (what exactly is this?): ?????
Guerilla Communication (shifting focus in public place by odd or extreme actions such as city council meeting, public bus, etc.): who began it and when?
H2O Jake/Dihydrogen Monoxide Hoax (convincing people water is dangerous by calling it something else): Al Franken (Saturday Night Live), Eric Lechner, Lars Norpchen and Matthew Kaufman, et al. (I can get the dates on this, but does anybody know when the SNL bit aired?)
Honorary Membership (in non-existent groups, then having people talk about the group in the hearing of the recipient): Malaclypse the Younger began when?
The Jake That Changed A World (got Planet X named Eris): Professor Mu-Chao (I can get the date on this)
Mileygasm (naming Disney Princesses who blow their innocent image as Discordian American Princesses): Pope Hilde and ????? (Discordian American Princess created by ?????) began in 2008
Omgasm (Operation Mindfuck: Golden Apple Seed Mission): Professor Cramulus? Began when?
Om Parades (weird parades like Discordians for Jesus, Unregistered Sex Offenders, something by St. Mae--Cacophony?): ????? and began when?
Operation Mindfuck (if you're here and don't know what this is, I won't tell you): Ho Chi Zen (Kerry Thornley) and ?????, named by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea?  Began when?
Postergasm (this was called something else by the original Discordians--anybody know what?): Professor Cramulus (modern) revived it when? And who did original and when?
Project Jake (send a bureaucrat lots of weird letters on a topic): Harold Lord Randomfactor
Project Pan-Pontification (handing out Pope cards): (Original Discordians, but which ones?)
Rubber Stamp (stamping official mail "See Mental Health Records" and returning it): Dr. Mordecai Malignatus began this when?

I would like to edit Intermittens #7, and make it about Operation Mindfuck.  I know a lot of you don't know me, so here's a little about myself and my ideas for this issue.

About Me:

I'm not another Greg Hill or Kerry Thornley.  But I have edited several issues of a bulletin, assisted a professor doing research at a university, and published a couple of articles.

I've known about Eris Discordia for several years, and posted a little jake here.  LMNO wanted a story for a coworker who liked Boston teams, so I wrote an "AP" article about a Sink game and posted it at http://www.principiadiscordia.com/forum/index.php?topic=19299.msg643972#msg643972. By the way, the Floating Hospital-Children in Boston is real, which made it the perfect Boston location for a game of Sink.  You might think my article sucks, but anyway LMNO liked it.

So much for my mediocre credentials.

About The Issue:

I want to really open up submissions from both inside and outside PD.com, so want help notifying a lot of Discordian cabals.  That can broaden the magazine, increase readership, and avoid burnout for those who've already posted in several issues.

I want to have something about the origin of Operation Mindfuck/Project Jake/etc., and even something about pre-Discordian forms of it.  And obviously I want new OMs (both ones people have used and ones that are just waiting to be used), and of course OMGASM stuff.  Bits about the different types of OMs (Postergasm, Bookgasm, etc.) would be great, maybe even an Operation Mindfuck Dictionary.  And photos of OMs would be wonderful (I saw some for Postergasm and EggGASM/Erister Egg Hunt I'd love to use).  Maybe even an interview with a major OMer.

I don't see this as being an all-fun-stuff issue, so would like something on the point of OMs.  Is it important to shake up people's perceptions, to fuck with their minds, and is it even possible in today's Western world where we're bombarded with everything?  And what's happening in the East with OM (I don't know if anyone here would have anything on that, but something about Eastern OMs would be great).

I'd also like short bits, quotes (ones that already exist or ones you just made up), jokes, riddles, games, puzzles, silly stuff, even if it doesn't strictly fit the theme.  Lots of cool filler material.  And definitely fake ads--seems a natural for an OM issue, especially if the ads seem like they could be real.  And letters to the editor about Issue #5 and/or #6 (including real letters) and letters about issue #4 (fake letters about the fake issue).

So what do you spags think?

EDIT: I'm doing it.  You can submit in this thread if you want.  If you want to submit somewhere else, see other places you can submit at http://www.blackironprison.com/index.php?title=User:Sheered Völva

EDIT: You can submit directly to isubmit@ymail.com.  I'll be discontinuing the email address after the issue is done, so don't care if it's posted.
