It's pretty big, I was surprised. At least 3". I feel bad because Nigel sells them on her website for like 70-90 bucks, and I'm doing little 3rd rate doodles. So she's getting something really nice. I have no choice now. Lol.
3" is probably doable if you wear it like you would something precious--as in not for everyday wear. It does look delicate.

My sister in law complains of the same thing...I dunno, I think some fake jobs look good, but they never match up to the natural ones. And as for feeling them, nah, can't compare.
The thing is about fakes is you have to spend a lot of time and money to get them to apprach a natural look.
The best I've ever seen in public is Dita (www.dita.net/ - NSFW), and she got it done twice - the first was a cup size beyond her goal, and after the skin stretcehd out,she got them taken out and a size smaller put in, so they actually hang pretty realistically. Plus, she did the whole thing through her belly button, so there's no scarring.
Most women probably don't want to go through the cost and effort to do this, though, so you get women whose nipples are permanently pointing skyward.
My wife said if we were rolling in dough she'd like to get hers done, though I think it's more to reverse the effects of mommyhood. Though, personally, I don't see any need for improvement.

Mr. Suu pulled a Richter...the minute we had tags on the van, he threw his armor and rattan in the back. :x However, I still can't believe we're driving a minivan, but for 400 bucks (about $600 total to get it on the road with insurance and reg) we can't really complain. Mr. Suu pulled a Richter...the minute we had tags on the van, he threw his armor and rattan in the back. :x However, I still can't believe we're driving a minivan, but for 400 bucks (about $600 total to get it on the road with insurance and reg) we can't really complain. Also: It should fit about 5 stormtroopers comfortably, as we DO have priorities.
If it can haul armor and spears... then its a good buy ;-)!!!
The nice thing about rapier is that we don't have space requirements beyond the 42" blades ;-)
Lugging 40 + Lbs. of gear before I even get to weapons, rapier does seem attractive some days. (Especially already being in good clothes for court) :)

Yeah, I have a four layer t-shirt made of linen that passes the punch test... I can wear it under any garb including court garb and fight, run to the bathroom and lose the t-shirt, then stand in court.
Though I did find out that pipe sleeves on a houpelande are not good for fighting. They do a great job of tangling blades... but they also rip out. There's nothing like standing behind the Baroness, with your most foppish attire, and have a chunk of your garb hanging loose from the shoulder. LOL.

What I did with mine was got an ENORMOUS silver jump ring from a jeweler friend; it's about 20mm. I don't know if you can get them that big in bead stores normally, though, so I was thinking about buying some 12-gauge silver wire and making my own... if I do I'll send you one. You put the ring on the leaf and run the cord through the ring, and it hangs flat then.

I lost all of the doodles. I think they were left at the Monastery and since Toothless Methhead is now living in my studio space, I have no idea what happened to my artwork and posters and anything that was left in there. But if I found out she tried selling any of it for drugs I'm busting out the rest of her teeth and turning Herbert into a eunuch for letting her move in when my name is still on the lease.
