Title: SCABS
Post by: -Kel- on February 16, 2010, 05:04:03 PM
Does anyone else enjoy looking at a scab after you have removed it or it has flaked off from the skin?

Or am I just a freak?

It's got that morbid fascination thing going.  Like after you blow out an abscess / zit / cycst, or rip out an ingrown toenail.  There's jsut that sense of "Goddamn.  That was IN me."

Especially if it's a big one with lots of detail! Hell yes. And dead skin that you peel off of a sunburn too. Try putting it under a microscope if you got one, it's awesome.

Printed with several pages of the cheap "hologram" animation of said scab being torn off the skin.

Should we start closing down threads if they are deemed "unworthy"?

Fascination with one's own body is bad now?
So learning about yourself is fluff? fine.
fuck off out of the thread then.

Apparently, we have a maximum number of threads allowed.  When they're all used up, the interwebs comes to an end.

People need to STFU about lame threads in Apple Talk.  It's APPLE TALK people, that's why it is here.  If the thread pops up in O:MF, by all means, complain, otherwise... :argh!:

I once had a full body scab, and constantly picked at it.  All of it.

I am now the result of that picking.  Consider yourself warned.

Because getting a 9mm sized chunk of congealed blood, pus, and wax blown out of my ear with a waterpik may not have been FUN, but it was MEMORABLE.

We're talking about Richter, here.  Take nothing for granted.

Was back in High School.  I learned a few things from it:

1.  If you're going to have to wade through crap and blood, things splatter.

2.  You're going to have to wash it off.  It gets everywhere, so wash everywhere.

3.  If you don't, it goes bad.

A couple of weeks ago, I happened to be holding the cat when the GF fired up the shredder in the background.  Said cat lost his shit and clawed the crap out of my hand, leaving a bloody line up my wrist to almost my thumb.

I washed it and stopped the bleeding, sprayed it with some stuff that made me yell a little... and then quietly thought, 'this is going be be fun for the next few weeks when it scabs over'.

So, yeah, I'm glad I am not the only weirdo.

You ever scratch your head and discover one hidden in your hair you didn't know about?  Why is that so fun to pick out?

I hate the ones in the hair! They kinda hurt for some reason. My Russian hair dresser always ends up nipping me behind my ear ... I need to find a better hair dresser, I stopped going the good one cause he kinda kept hitting on me - he asked me to come back to his place and fool around with him whilst naked, he somehow got my mobile # to  :|  :lulz: :lulz: (I got a good laugh out of it I guess) - Though I might go back and get a haircut ... he made me look good atleast :(
