Well, you could always post them here for consultation.  I think some editing is necessary, if only to highlight the central themes more.

It means a perfect working society, to me.  One where the major struggles for equality, justice, good governance, accountability etc are finally put to rest and there are maybe only minor issues left to solve

The problem is, people like us, would get bored in seconds.  You might say "oh. boredom, is that all" but it would be highly demoralizing.  Some of may become fanatics, even though our system may be the best, there is still little good reason to enforce it on others.  In short, any Utopian system would be a victory for order.  "Good" order, maybe, but order nonetheless.  Thats one of my reasons for disliking anarchy, for its presumption of total natural harmony and order.  All Utopian systems are Greyface by proxy.  On a metaphysical level.  If they are seen as ideals to strive towards, in order to maintain more freedom and justice, then they are part of a greater dialectic and that is good.  But when people try to accomplish them, well....

Ignoring social norms, impulse control issues and problems with empathy.

I don't talk about stars at all, I never watch TV or listen to the radio.  I talk about politics because I study it.  Its kind of hard to watch as yet another retard somewhere in the media butchers the public discourse again and again without comment.  Although I am trying to concentrate on philosophy more.

Besides, if you don't like what is being talked about, perhaps you should start some threads on what you like?  Just a suggestion.

I don't think I can, except for in the most obvious way.  The permissions all seem to be set up correctly...the only other way would be to hide the forum from guests.  Maybe.

I'm currently reading the sequel to this, called Fallen Nation: Babylon Burning.  I haven't read too far into it, but I would say it certainly seems much better written and more interesting than Join My Cult.  Its also freely available from the Grey Lodge website (Review #18, IIRC)
