It's not my purpose to upset you, I'll think about what's been said.

People are not as brave as you are, by default people try to be what others want them to and what is convenient - that's why they're so reluctant to change their points of reference of identity and the practical behaviour attached to it.

Identity is about who we were taught that we are in our early childhood, so on first term its an imposition, that we take on.

So for me personally, I can say im racially a mutt, my biological sex is male... those are "objective characteristics" which i have no problem accepting as part of my identity because theres not really much arguing about it.

But then there's the grand majority of subjective characteristics, sexual orientation, beliefs, politics, gender...

Grand majority of identity is not about what we actually are, but what we want to be, theyre prospective, theyre ideals that we chase, and our wish to belong to a certain pack or groupality and what role we want to play and be recognized and valued for.

So if part of someones identity revolves around illegitimate privileges, most of the times they WILL go down fighting for it.

Setting the mood for 2021

The problems with certain mobs, is that you can get rid of the leader, but their "attitude" persists and worsens... the Trump era is just about over, but what im worried about is who is going to replace him, whom everyone will swarm around.

Addendum: and who knows, he might still run for governor and win in some red state.

The actual uprising attempt will be next week, somewhere between the 18th and the 20th, from what I gather.

Is this planned bout of civil war on schedule?

Hard to see much but blood coming bidens way, regardless of his own choices. Go for the healing spiel, fuckwits continue. Go for punishment, big or small, fuckwits feel wronged and continue.

Add in guns and it's a lottery of which town gets "massacre" added to its name. To start.

"Surely we should look for a middle-ground with the fascistic domestic terrorists! That should appease them! This strategy, after all, avoided World War II and prevented 84 million deaths!" said the Democratic party for the last decade.

Is it weird that the government is announcing/advertising the "armed protests in all 50 states"?

Wouldn't that just encourage more people to show up?

If you mean this: https://apnews.com/article/fbi-warns-armed-protests-next-week-ec75b26289166b4afd30c15b0dd2ded5

Then:

QuoteAn internal FBI bulletin warned, as of Sunday, that the nationwide protests may start later this week and extend through Biden's Jan. 20 inauguration, according to two law enforcement officials who read details of the memo to The Associated Press. Investigators believe some of the people are members of extremist groups, the officials said. The bulletin was first reported by ABC.

So to me its not the FBI doing this, its some "law enforcement officials" being jackasses and leaking internal memos.

It's like these particular police officials want to incite and promote this clown fiesta for some reason by casually and indirectly inviting everyone to prepare themselves for it.

The chain of command gives the President and the state Governor authority over all National Guard units.

DC isn't a state, so it doesn't have a Governor, the National Guard comes under the authority of the President, as would seconded National Guard units from nearby states.

I see, i was too focused computing other factors and i forgot this one.

I've been hearing reports from multiple states of the National Guards mobilizing. Seems like they're planning on not fucking around next time.

Good thing, too. The insurrectionists probably won't be either. Hopefully, they're sending some to protect weak points in the infrastructure while they're at it.

The problem was last time Trump wanted the National Guard to mobilise against the counter-protestors.

This is why certain European intelligence agencies have people who think this was a planned coup. If if it had worked, the National Guard would have secured Capitol Hill but let the Trumpists run riot inside. And while a lot of these idiots were farcical, some did come armed and with ziplocks on show - they intended to take hostages.

Even within this forum I have contradictory recollections on what side people thought the NG would take... I vaguely remember the NG enforced aggresively a curfew in urban neighbourhoods... but i also recall people here arguing that the NG are more loyal to the State and the Constitution than the President itself... and now you're saying the NG would support the coup.

I dont remember who said what, and if the narrative has changed based on how they acted in each scenario, just pointing out the contradictions.

Maybe they'll just take pictures with them, as the critical infrastructure is on fire in the background.

Very poetic that one of the people that died that day, was carrying a "Dont thread on me" flag, and got trampled.

I dont think hes ever actually apologized before that moment... the power that forced him to do that will not banish in such a short time span.

Not a bad speech, though.  Didn't sound a whit like Trump.  I'm surprised he read it.  I wonder who wrote it.

Fox news flashed some kind of code shortly before they basically walked in the place. Saw footage of cops and protesters taking selfies and shit like it's a holiday. This could be a long one. If it was me I would cut the water to the block. But it's not. This is gonna be a festival.

What code?
