Everybody involved, go out, take a dozen (or more/less) photographs. Grab an image that speaks, something with some emotion behind it, that might do the same for others.
Shove them all in a common photobucket (or whatever) account.
Go in. Grab an image. Yours, his, mine, whatever. Doesn't matter if someone else has used it, in fact, better to get multiple stories per image. Grab one that tells you a story. Tell us the story (with link).
Rinse and repeat.

Hey, could it be that I've visited that rock on my travels through New England? While on the road I spotted a big ass waterfall, so we backed up and checked it out (really pretty) and it really looks a lot like that place. I forgot where exactly it was though. Then again, most rocks in that region probably look like that.

The last two pictures were taken at Purgatory Chasm in MA. It's possible you saw it, but you'd have to go down into the chasm to see it, you'd have to have done that on purpose. It's an awesome walk.
Also what did people think of my pictures? I'm especially proud of the cracked ice series and the steel fences series. Oh and the boat+car pic is pretty sweet as well (but maybe less useful).

That's an actual person. I took that shot with a shitty camera phone that I knew would add heavy texture and distortion. It was taken in heavy fog walking over the on-ramp to the Morrison Bridge towards downtown at 2am. Here's a Google maps version of the same place:

We're immersed in time.
So we rarely notice it or think about it. It's a forbidden topic -- the ellipses following a euphemism. We pretend that we're not drowning in time. We just doggy paddle down the mysterious river.
Some photographs remind you. They show you a moment that has passed. A snowflake that has melted into a drop of water, refracting the light into a spectrum. The colors of buildings. The costumes of the actors. The shape of a car. The fonts on a sign. You don't have to go back very far before everything starts looking foreign.
If you were to travel through time, even if you remained in the same city, you would be a foreigner. Sometimes that thought makes me very lonely. We have to face the mystery alone.
The faces in the photograph look at you with knowing eyes.
But they don't know, you know.
Their mystery has melted. My mystery is now. I am writing it as I'm solving it. Mystery novelists say you should start with the ending and then work backwards. So I take a mental snapshot of the future. I'm looking at the fonts, the shapes of cars, the spectrum of color hidden in the white light. When you look at a photograph of the future, does it make you nostalgic for the present?
