That's kind of why I was asking. I really have a lot of respect for the dream world, and was hoping for a more substantial dream experience, I guess. I don't know. I've got the basics of lucid dreaming down and figure about 40% of my dreams are lucid.Quote from: Odibex Grallspice on December 27, 2013, 07:06:12 PM
Anyone practice it.I mean, it's merely a form of entertainment, not some one stop to enlightenment. I usually end up grabbing titties. Which is a bit shallow, I'll be the first to admit. Generally, with this thread, I'm hoping to get some tips on getting something more substantial out of it.
What is it you want to do? I am shitty at sleeping and as a result I find myself lucid dreaming a lot. All you have to do is realize that you're dreaming, and then you can control what happens, which is really useful when your dreams are frequently horrific.
Do you want more interesting things to happen? Because that might require doing interesting things IRL.

Quote from: Alty on December 27, 2013, 07:09:52 PMExactly, when I realize I'm in my room, I know it's a lucid dream generally. I always worry that the lock on my door is going to be set, but it never is.
You could "travel places".
Either starting from your room, reaching little checkpoints (the ceiling, the door, lamp in living room) until you are outside. Then go anywhere. Keeping it realistic is a challenge and fun.
Quote from: President Television on December 27, 2013, 12:07:38 AMYou might want to check out Australian painter James Gleeson, he's pretty fleshy!
I kinda wish more abstract art was all fleshy like yours instead of just psychedelic colours.

I shall learn your ways!
Oh, we have our ways...
You mean you will create conditions designed to deprive us of food in order to drive us into open conflict with each other and perpetuate a state of primitive warfare?
Well, it beats my plan for the weekend, I suppose.
Goodall was a crazy bitch who did more harm than good.

Ok, I really like your paintings. I kinda wish more abstract art was all fleshy like yours instead of just psychedelic colours.
