For my part, I've replaced optimism and believing the best of people by default with a grin and the absolute 100% certainty that if they cannot find a pig to fuck, they will buy some bacon and play oinking noises on YouTube.

Sorry - too brief. I meant that if you told those facts to the cop, he'd not give a crap since those phrases he used are loaded with meaning which better conveys his intent than "Hey, look at how our skin is coloured differently. Incidentally, I have an irrational hatred of you, and I want you to feel bad about yourself." Secondly, since we know the cops intent in using the phrase, us knowing the inaccuracy of the comparison adds no additional meaning other than the cop displays common ignorance. Finally, pointing this out to the cop, or anyone of racist intent, is not likely to meaningfully change their actions since they are more concerned with maintaining the hate, not the logical aesthetic of the insult used. Especially as the hate is directed not at monkeys, but at people of different races/backgrounds/etc.

Oh. I was just making fun of him for being stupid.

Also, "spearchucker" is not racist because white people also throw spears!  :p

Clearly not racist. Most primates have white skin.

Also, white people are hairier than blacks.

Florida: the state that gave a guy 3 years probation for drawing an "obscene" comic book.

I was just making a suggestion. I don't see how that could be perceived as "insulting".

Sorry if I offended you.

My god, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.

Literally.

The.

Stupidest.

Thing.

And there are people commenting that this is a good law!

I was expecting it to be a violation of probation/parole thing, but one of them doesn't even fucking have a fucking criminal record!

I used gallon ziploc bags, inside manila envelopes.

Free boxes for priority mail is the shit, though. They sent me waaaaaay more than I ordered once, and I still have probably hundreds of them stashed in my parents' barn.

I even tried to give them back, but they wouldn't take them.

...they will be about $12 each this time since I'm not going the el cheapo route. They cost about $4-$5 to ship domestically, and I'll be asking actual shipping costs this time since I'm not rolling in dough anymore.

USPS First-Class -- $2.00

That's how I shipped t-shirts when I sold them on eBay several years ago.

Define "Membership Organization".

Does the Catholic church count?

Other states already have similar laws. I think in Tennessee, it only applies when minors are present.

I remember several years ago some people were whitewater rafting, and a guy fell out of the boat. He said some stuff I'm sure we would find appropriate considering the situation, but since there were children present, it was a crime.

I think he got like 2 weeks of public service or something.

"The Joy of Home Brewing"

It's a book. Pick it up.

Excellent book, even if I was tired of reading the phrase "Relax, don't worry, have a homebrew." by the second chapter.

Xebra, if you do decide to make apple cider, use clear juice, not cloudy. The cloudy stuff is higher in pectin, which ferments into methanol, not ethanol.

Damn, that sucks Jenne. How much longer does he have?

Why did they go after your dad?
#2385
How in the hell did they catch him in the first place?

Do they have Sodium sniffing dogs now?
