yeah, the new tekken came out, and now i think i have to buy the PS3.
and also red dead redemption looks pretty good, too...

:D
Tekken 6 can be pretty damned addicting at home. The "dress up your character" mode, with unlockable clothing, makes for some really fucking ridiculous outfits to run around beating folks up in too. Marshall Law, decked out in neon pink flip flops and daisy duke shorts, is a force to be reckoned with... It's a great drunken party game too, much like Soul Calibur IV.

What's a hoax? Are you saying that the crop circle doesn't exist, or that it's not really a binary code?

That it's not aliens that made it.

Don't you know that everything that can't be explained and has a hint of complexity is from aliens and just gets covered up by the government?

So then, Bioshock! Because I freaking love the ocean and Art Deco and oh man, that game is just SO PRETTY.

I could really go for the plasmids too. It'd be so sweet to be able to shoot bees out of your arms, ice, all that other crazy stuff :)

Got a fantastic insight on my question from a Computer Scientistâ„¢ friend and fellow UFO fanatic:

"They probably learned ASCII from intercepting electrical signals around earth. And they don't have devices that can translate the high and low signals to English characters so they just make them into pictures so we can still (hopefully) figure it out"

What does everyone think of the debunking crop circles stuff? That it's just some rope and a paddle and a couple dudes plowing around? The precision and everything is impressive, I don't think I could pull off a hoax nearly as effective.

If the aliens have ascii, does that mean their space ships have standard English QWERTY keyboards, too? Fuck I'd be so disappointed to board an alien craft and see a bunch of cheap $10 keyboards from Fry's lying around :x

In compliance with rules #4 & #10, here's some dorky photos of me.

Linking because I didn't get me coffee yet and I'm in no mood to put a poster-sized image of myself on the board :)

Definitely the Mass Effect universe. I'm kind of fixed on the alien bit, so knowing there were aliens would be a plus. I'm also a sucker for Bladerunner / cyberpunk stuff so, to be on a dilapidated asteroid drinking booze and watching a go-go girl on an 80-foot videoscreen, to me, is too fuckin cool. http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Omega

I always want to say "I'd like to live in the Fallout universe" but I'm probably too much of a pussy to survive.

#6?? Who the fuck was that? If they earned a place in the same sentence as AKK I need to see this shit!

enjoy.

Jesus aperaping fuck! 40 pages??? I made it to about 6   :x

the amazing thing is that in those 40 pages (or perhaps even the first 20-30 of em), he manages to ride through ALL the stereotypical n00b failure cliches!

(or was that another dude? I think it was this one)

It was ten in a single 8 hour period. And then he got the 11th one the next day. :lulz: It was awesome. He even got me, Pixie, and Cram riled up.

Is there a convenient list of noob mistakes I can peruse to ensure I don't make any? :)

I've been dieting since February, and have put off about 35 pounds so far. This guide is a fucking amazing, ingenius, and properly written diet guide. I'm hovering around my mid-way point for weight loss, and read the guide yesterday. Signed up for the gym this morning, and put my ass on the elliptical machine for an hour.

I like that it frames the responsibility directly at the person, rather than beating around the bush to be nice. My new mantra, you're fat because you eat too fucking much and exercise too little.

Have a few friends that persistently ask about how I manage to diet, yet perpetually never actually do what you need to lose weight. I think I'm going to just hand copies of this guide to them rather than waste the breath on explanations...  :argh!:

Electronic music junkie here, now listening to:

Militant Cheerleaders on the Move - Freaks EP
Nachtmahr - Feuer Frei!

Do like a variety of music, just spend 90% of my time on that sorta thing.

I got 22 pages in.

I almost regret missing that. Then I realized that I'd have to actually, you know, put up with the spag.

The Terrible Things â„¢ kind of freak me out, and the Terrible Truthâ„¢ as well, but I'll stick around. I don't think it can be that terrible, can it? With a roof on the pool, and a basement filled with hidden goodies, things have to be pretty good. If being a "Real" Discordian is about preaching to the choir then count me out, I came here for the love.

The History Channel has been pandering to the neocons as of late. Once they get over that phase I will gladly start watching other programs than Pawn Stars again.

I like it. I'm not sure if I'm a neocon or not, I don't think I am. Conspiracy talk and UFO research are good enough topics for entertainment to me tho. To me it's as close to a "Weekly World News: TV" as I've seen :)

It's not like I need to waste more time watching tv, but if I do, I want to waste it on something good.

So, which tv shows do you prefer, and why?

I'm hooked on the History channel recently, particularly two shows: Ancient Aliens, and Gangland. I was on a TV hiatus for 5 odd years, and recently was blessed with the joys of cable. Ancient Aliens is kind of a mish mash run of conspiratorial junk and "Ancient Astronaut Theorists", with kind of a wide angle view of that "scene". It's ridiculous, funny, moderately entertaining, puzzling, and bizarre to see it on a channel devoted to History.

Gangland is a show about gangs across the world with their profiles, crimes, infiltrations, and general braggart one-upping on their enemies.

Fuck I don't know much about TV but I can tell you that History is a good channel for generally weird / bizarre bullshit day round. One day it's the History of America, the next they've got David Icke on talking about the History of Secret Societies and reptilian blood drinkers. IMO that's a win win combo.
