What exactly was the argument? Stinks of politics, little else raises this level of irrational frothing.

I say irrational because there's multiple posts and not a single lizard reference. I doubt this person knows you as they claim.

FYI, it literally had nothing to do with politics, as indicated in the OP. It had to do with the crazy old man shouting and flinging shit at everybody in the neighborhood. He could have been yelling just about anything, it doesn't matter. It's just the same old shit over and over. It was the sheer monotony of it that drove me to say something.

You need to check your definitions of "spamming" and "Lost their shit" because I think you might be using them outside of their common usages. You're a fucking cheap spin-doctor. Get real dude.
#33
Knowing you outside of PeeDee, this reads like "Why won't people just LET me be an asshole to everyone without calling me on it?" You're gonna get what you give, and when you give everybody rashers of shit all the time, well...

Now, OF COURSE, none of this is to say that I don't like you, because I DO LIKE YOU. But you can't complain that nobody likes you when you go out of the way to make it so. It's a self fulfilling prophecy at this point.

And, OF COURSE, none of this is to say that you SHOULD want to be liked, that's up to you. But you can't complain when you never really tried.

Also, it's a little fucked up that you think it's okay to address people in a certain way, and when someone is less-than-delicate with you, you cry foul. Goddamn it man, buck up.

but fuck me, right?

I'm just sick of watching you bully people on facebook like some kind of internet tough-guy. You sound like the bro's you talk shit about. And then, as it turns out, as soon as someone barks back, you can't handle it. Sure, you could write off everything I say, but then again, if I didn't give a rats ass about you, I wouldn't be here, right? If I didn't already have respect for you, I wouldn't care. But I do, so I'm saying something. Because when you like and respect someone, you should point out and address points of contention, not BUILD A WALL.

So, you blocked me on facebook because I called you out on your howling into the abyss. We ALL get it, you get a major kick out of trashing people with different opinions. Hell, you're at it day after day, like you have something to prove. It's almost as if you're trying to convince yourself of your own bullshit with how compulsive you've been about it.

This has NOTHING to do about politics BTW, it is now more like a situation where the neighbor's dog won't stop barking all day. WE ALL KNOW what you think. You can stop now and move on to something else. We all know. I liked it better when you didn't sound like a broken goddamn record. But whatever, man, enjoy creating your own echo chamber as you block everyone that might think a bit differently. Play right into their hands, support that status quo, I don't give a shit. There aint anything I can do to stop you, but really think: what are you attempting to accomplish?

I'll tell you one thing though, it gave me a reason to come back here and post something.

I blocked you because I am less than human; a dog with no agency that "barks and barks and barks and barks and nobody cares."

AND NOBODY CARES.

Well, at least you don't.  You've made that clear.

I don't do contempt well.  So fuck off.  Seriously.  Get the fuck out of my life.

Haha, you are a total drama queen. Get over yourself. Also, BLOCK ME HERE MOTHERFUCKER.

I was going to say something about Twitch never tellling me when you're on....turns out they changed subscriptions so email notifications are off by default.

Thanks, Obama.

Yeah, that was a somewhat recent change. It's actually nice to not have my email spammed to shit by twitch notifications, but if you weren't aware of the change, I can see it being a little inconvenient. I'm not streaming a whole lot during the week, anyhow. Mostly just the weekends for the podcast, with the occasional Nuclear Throne daily challenge. If anyone can catch it live, having a few spags in chat always helps spice things up a bit, especially if their twitch-meme game is dank enough.

...In case anyone one is REALLY bored. Me and my bass-player have been doing a weekly podcast every Sunday at 8pm, EST at http://www.twitch.tv/dimo1138. Past episodes are posted on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCz-mfOss4dFOG2MQayz5yfg

Currently, we are trying to raise money for a trip to New York to buy a golden donut, in order to become Illuminati confirmed.

OK.  I realized "free time" isn't something that happens, so I must choose to make time.  Send over a copy, and I'll endeavor to read a little bit each day.

I suppose that's true. You're going to have to refresh my memory and send me your email address, it's been a while since I had to use it.

I am definitely down to do this.  I have no actual idea how long it would take me to read on a computer, though.  But I have all the time in the world to read things.

PMed you.

Ok, so it seems I cannot get anyone to read my manuscript (not that I think that anyone is obligated to, but I'm really anxious to get to re-writes, and I can do literally nothing until I get some feedback) so I am considering finding a professional. Does anyone know what I should expect for rates?

EDIT: nevermind, this shit is actually very expensive.

It's horrifically expensive. :(

I would volunteer to read it, but the last manuscript I volunteered to read (LMNO's) sat on my bedside table for, um, I guess four years, mostly unread. I have since gained the sense to recognize that there is no actual way I'm reading anything but textbooks during the term.

As weird as it might sound, I really appreciate you NOT signing on for something that you don't have time for (it should be standard practices, I feel, but is uncommon). I don't want to come across as impatient with others, either. It's just frustrating when many people give me a time-frame (which I then plan around) but then they disappear off the planet. I'd rather people just flat out say that they can't do it, than be led to expect something from someone that they don't even intend to doing. I think I even remember you mentioning similar situations in a post or on FB, and I agree that things like this seem to be more common these days... Or maybe I'm just noticing it more... IDK.

I can take a shot at it, but can't promise anything.

Trying to set expectations, here. I didn't do too well with your last work, if I can tell.

I did listen to and like the last album, though.

I would really like your feedback in particular, but why don't you let me know if you have time that opens up? That way I won't have yet another copy potentially floating around in limbo nor the uncertainty of not knowing whether or not you've had a chance to look at it. I'm sure that at some point, even if it's a few drafts down the road, your input will be just as valuable.

Ain't scared of no 35k words.

Plus it'll give me something new to read.

I've actually finished the first draft since I've posted (currently sits at 72099 words) and sent it out to a handful of people. If you want, I can get you in once I slap together a 2nd draft.
