Fuck. Okay, apologies thrown back in my face.
Lesson learned.
And again I sincerely apologize.

I'm sorry, are you saying women are scared because of their hormones?
Quote from: blue
This one is easy. Take a transgender male who is seeking gender reassignment. The first thing they do is begin hormone therapy ... right ?
Same with female to male. Add testosterone and she will experience a different way of looking at the world. It's likely to make her more bold and assertive.
Fight or flight .... timid or bold .... what your attractions are ....personality traits .... whatever .... it's all a product of that unique biochemical reaction that's going on inside your body and brain.
Quote from: Khara
I just....
I don't even.....
WHAT. THE. FVCK? Are you freaking serious? Are you high? Women will run from danger? Women are timid? Women have personality traits based on their hormones?
Have you never seen a mother protecting her child? Do women not serve right beside men in the military these days, since such antiquated, pre-feminism, idiotic male viewpoints were shot to shit?
I cannot believe in this century anyone still can believe such lies.
Also, hormones do not affect emotions, emotions affect hormones.....

I am going to have to admit something here that I rarely admit.
This has left me just fvcking speechless......
I can't get mad because it is based on ignorance and prejudice. Yet I am mad because it is based on ignorance and prejudice.
Quote from: blue
Don't get mad Khara. It's just my view of things that's all. Years ago i think i would have been more in agreement with the groupthink. Now i'm beginning to undrstand why, historically, women have always been relegated to the role of second class citizens in society.
Worse yet, i'm beginning to agree with it.
Predjudiced yes .... judging by what i see there's every good reason to be.
I don't have time for the drama and there's little here to hold my intrest so i'm just going on ahead.

You're totally correct. You should probably swallow a handful of tylenol with every cocktail.
Not just good advice for DECI4, but also for all her friends!
QuoteEtta James who has died aged 73 after suffering from leukaemia, was among the most critically acclaimed and influential female singers of the past 50 years, even if she never achieved huge popular success. From her first R&B hit, in 1955, the risqué Roll With Me Henry – cut when she was only 15 – through a series of classic 1960s soul sides (the lush ballad At Last, the raucous house rocker Tell Mama and the emotional agony of I'd Rather Go Blind), then a series of critically acclaimed 1970s and 1980s albums that won her a broad rock audience, to more recent albums of jazz vocals, James proved capable of developing and changing as an artist.

I hate you fuckos that can eat with a hangover. When I'm hung over I can't even keep fluids down, which means I don't get better for like the entire day.

Socioeconomic tourism's not really a new thing, there are just new and stupider ways of going about it. I had pretty much the same reaction to On The Road that most people seem to be having to the link in the OP.
I'm presuming the book because I don't think the movie is out yet... But yeah, I can see where you are coming from.
I was talking about that show with Charles Kurault. Fuck that guy!

Here's my deal, PDS: If artists don't have a right to be paid for their work, then neither does anyone else. We merely enjoy privilege.
You stealing a song is - simply put - stealing from someone trying to make a living.

Top that with a couple of eggs over easy and it's a pretty unbeatable hangover cure.

This is where I would make noise about frozen potatoes not having any nutritional value, but the truth is that fresh potatoes don't have any nutritional value either.
They sure do a hell of a job of soaking up last night's cheap beer though!

I'm pretty sure I can't send either fish or dry ice through the mail from a foreign country without an import license.
But even if I could, that would be the most expensive mahi anybody ever ate.
That said, mahi is one of those firm-fleshed fishes that does not suffer any from being frozen. My advice would be to make friends with someone who is in charge of ordering for a local restaurant. Ask them if they'll order some for you from their vendor.
