It appears my last couple posts have disappeared.
Have I gone mad?
Does my internets skillz need learnin?
Are mods looking out for my (or others) better interests?
Just wondering
It was Ted Stevens reaching from beyond the grave.
You were drunk the last time you were posting, I'd like to point out.
Also, I checked the moderation log. No deleted posts at all.
True and ok.
Edit: now that I think about it, if you knew I was drunk the last time I posted, then you must've seen my post. I'll go double check that it's there.
My bad - found it.
Guess I narrowed it down to madness or suxxor internet skillz.
Sorry to have bothered you.
Just out of curiosity - does this forum support "ignore list" functionality? It occurs to me I could've been on my ignore list for whatever reason.
Anybody wanna talk about dry electrostatic precipitators?
The last posts of yours that i saw were kinda rambly and not easy to follow. Also i think it might be interesting to hook your brain up to something and see whats lighting up most of the time. This is also meant to be a judgment neutral statement.
I'm for it.
Usually, I strive for honesty but tend to get caught up in the nature of truth.
After some consideration, I think that's only half of it.
The other half would be that I feel like, to a certain extent, we are like minded individuals here, except I don't quite seem to fit in. So when a topic comes up that I feel strongly about (i.e. motorcycles) I tend to blow my wad.

How do you "get caught up in the nature of truth"?
I think its a metaphor. He wants to discuss x but tends to get up in posting about irrelevant things about x.
I'll bite
I believe to be honest means to say what you think is true.
I've scrambled my eggs enough times to question what is really real.
So when I try to say what I mean, I often get distracted by trying to decide if what I'm saying is actually what I mean.
I admit that I use alcohol as a crutch to stop second guessing my words in an attempt to achieve brutal honesty. It usually doesn't work, but sometimes it does.
To put it another way, I believe it was Plato who said "know thyself"
I believe this was a joke - you can never truly know yourself.
I use alcohol because i like getting drunk.
Off topic but a load off my mind- doctor told me this morning that my liver is functioning normally and that pain i was feeling there was probably a pulled muscle. Never hurts to make sure.
Thanks for the tip. I've only had the liver quiver once and I don't drink near what I used to.
I was drunk pretty much everynight for the last ten weeks of '11. I figured it was plausible if a bit delayed.
I was drunk pretty much every day from 1999 to 2005.
You're Irish, aren't ya?
I think my irishness is pretty well established here. :lulz:
you'll be fine.
you hear the one about the irishman that quit drinkin? he switched to beer.

YOU'RE A FUCKING MESS!
GO MAKE ME A CAKE!
Im betting he would actually do that and then realize he doesnt know how to get it to you.
