Do you work off of references, or is that all coming out of your imagination?  It's really impressive either way, but I have to ask because of the striking naturalness of the anatomy and perspective.

With the character portraits I take a photo then trace an outline, then airbrush it in with the source pic in a different window for reference. It's kinda cheaty but it's good practice since I'm just a noob at this. The rest of my shit is a mixture of from my head and photomanipulation.
