You know how it is when you go to the toilet and you take a REALLY BIG SHIT?  I mean a really gut wrenching, too much turkey chili, booze, and cheese shit.  Then you wipe and you can't get all of the shit off of you ass.  You keep wiping and wiping until the brown on the toilet paper is mixed with blood and your asshole hurts from all of the friction and it doesn't matter HOW MANY TIMES YOU WIPE YOUR ASS THE SHIT IS STILL THERE!

It's sort of like voting isn't it?

Did you just insult my ass?

The problem is whenever I heard a Reagan speech I was below an 8th grade level.

I'm getting old, not quite there yet.

QuoteObama's use of simple language  is in part a reflection of his audience: the American voter in an election year. And it's part of a larger trend in simpler State of the Union language as the speech as transitioned from a simple address to Congress into a prime-time televised event.

I can't wait till politicians start giving speeches like someone talking to their dog after he takes a shit on the couch.

This was just a test run of MA's Ultra-LiberalismTM.  Abortions for everyone, whether you want them or not.

Personally I think it was just one judge who was probably shouldn't be calling anyone else mentally ill. But I have a feeling the story will evolve into such a rallying cry.

And for the record I do think there is a contingency in modern leftist politics that is just as detached from reality as the crazies from the right, if not more so. In fact crazy liberals (or more importantly people who call themselves liberal) tend to piss me off more for some reason. It might just be me though.

but I tracked it down.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/abortion-order-mentally-ill-mass-woman-vetoed-15381259#.TxhVUnrcBqN

Apparently a judge in Massachusetts tried to force a woman to have an abortion against her will as well as forcefully sterilize her cause she had a schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
The appeals court overruled it cause.. well you know.. the state forcefully sterilizing people and forcing them to have abortions is kind of... well evil.

Also, I'd like to add that just a few weeks ago, he was like 3 feet tall and had a Yoda bedspread.  Now he's 6'5" and carries a rifle.

  <--- Me.

You didn't give him a rifle when he had his Yoda bedspread? Well I guess you can't have everything.

Congrats to him.

an index of people who are PISSED OFF THAT WIKIPEDIA'S DOWN

This is awesome, and the funniest part is how many of them are college students who apparently were planning on using Wikipedia as a source, AND YET are also apparently unable to read the splash page, are confused about why it's down and how long it will be down for.

FUTURE OF AMERICA!

I don't know what they're worried about. Conservapedia is still up and kicking

http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/English_Wikipedia_anti-SOPA_blackout

QuoteIt is the opinion of the English Wikipedia community that both of these bills, if passed, would be devastating to the free and open web.

...Over the course of the past 72 hours, over 1800 Wikipedians have joined together to discuss proposed actions that the community might wish to take against SOPA and PIPA. This is by far the largest level of participation in a community discussion ever seen on Wikipedia, which illustrates the level of concern that Wikipedians feel about this proposed legislation. The overwhelming majority of participants support community action to encourage greater public action in response to these two bills. Of the proposals considered by Wikipedians, those that would result in a "blackout" of the English Wikipedia, in concert with similar blackouts on other websites opposed to SOPA and PIPA, received the strongest support.

On careful review of this discussion, the closing administrators note the broad-based support for action from Wikipedians around the world, not just from within the United States. The primary objection to a global blackout came from those who preferred that the blackout be limited to readers from the United States, with the rest of the world seeing a simple banner notice instead. We also noted that roughly 55% of those supporting a blackout preferred that it be a global one, with many pointing to concerns about similar legislation in other nations....

...We depend on a legal infrastructure that makes it possible for us to operate. And we depend on a legal infrastructure that also allows other sites to host user-contributed material, both information and expression. For the most part, Wikimedia projects are organizing and summarizing and collecting the world's knowledge. We're putting it in context, and showing people how to make to sense of it.

But that knowledge has to be published somewhere for anyone to find and use it. Where it can be censored without due process, it hurts the speaker, the public, and Wikimedia. Where you can only speak if you have sufficient resources to fight legal challenges, or if your views are pre-approved by someone who does, the same narrow set of ideas already popular will continue to be all anyone has meaningful access to....

And now he's got assholes like Rick Santorum putting words in his mouth.

Santorum seems to be bigger in that Yahweh dude.
You know with all the floods and toasting cities Yahweh and his son didn't seemed to be on the same page sometimes. I guess that's where the holy ghost comes in. He's kind of the mediator between the two.

http://www.examiner.com/conservative-in-spokane/ron-paul-supporters-threaten-atlanta-family-with-rape-death

A man jokes about pulling a stunt to make Ron Paul supporters look like extremists. Ron Paul supporters counter by threatening to murder his family.

Wow... that's profoundly unfunny, and funny at the same time.

"Don't portray us as extremists or we'll kill you and rape your family!"

Sad thing is, even though it's on the internet, I'm actually thinking some of them maybe that crazy
