I am planning a trip down that way in the beginning of march, still working out kinks. I'm hoping to be there for 2 or 3 days depending. What that largely depends on is my ability to find a spag or two who wouldnt mind me crashing on their couch. *puppy dog eyes*

You can crash in my spare bedroom, but there's a pretty good chance I won't be there to bum around with you. But ECHGF is cool as shit and I doubt she'll mind.
That said, though I think we live in the single best corner of PDX that there is, Nigel's place is more centrally located so I won't take it personally if you crash at her place.

My plan so far is to fly to Tucson, be reborn in the desert, then drive to Portland, then fly home. I need to acclimate myself from Arizona back to AK.
Actually my hope was to fly to Seattle, drive down the coast, then cut over to Tucson but I think that's just a bit too much/out of reach. I still wanna make that drive sometime though. There's so much of America that I haven't seen.
I will be in Portland from the 6th until the 11th of March. I will hopefully be relatively unburnt as the sun does terrible things to me. I don't reall have any plans aside from drinking and see stuff I've never seem before. Definitely looking forward to meeting some of you and thanks a bunch for offering me places to stay!

Dude, speaking as a pale assed girl of Irish ancestry, Arizona + pale skin = a whole bucket of the highest factor sunscreen + reapply, reapply, reapply. and you should come out unscathed. The landscape is fucking ALIEN too, in a kind of beautiful way.

Alty, it looks like there is a decent chance that I will in fact be home while you are in PDX. I'll let you know as soon as I find out for sure.
