It's funny how the position for boot-licking is so close to the one used for curb-stomping.

October 11, 1973 - The Pascagoula Alien Abduction

The Pascagoula Abduction was an alleged UFO sighting and alleged alien abduction in which two guys claimed they were abducted and examined before being released by aliens, when the guys were fishing near Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Now, I suspect Pascagoula was a pretty boring place back in the day. And, I suspect it hasn't gotten much more exciting over the years. But, this particular alleged alien abduction did allegedly involve two guys, so ... Anyway, someone, or some group, actually funded and commemorated this alleged alien abduction with an actual plaque placed on the alleged, actual site of the alleged alien abduction.

Drama Queen Greene has gifted us with yet another performance. She's actually starting to make Louis Gohmert, the former Representative from Texas, look like a genius by comparison. And, I didn't think that was even remotely possible.

And, this time around Alex Jones followed up with a meme of her act.

"Hurricane Helene conspiracy theories about lithium mining, weather control spread widely"

As per this article:

"The false claim that the government controlled the weather to manipulate Helene's path to hit majority Republican areas has racked up millions of views on social media.

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene posted on X , saying: "Yes they can control the weather. It's ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can't be done." The post, which had more than 40 million views at the time of writing, was also debunked via a Community Note on X.

Greene also posted what she described as a map of areas affected by Helene – in states including Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas — with an overlay showing the area is home to a majority of Republican voters.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones also amplified the claim, saying "Bottom line the federal government could have killed the storm in the Gulf of Mexico." Both Greene and Jones pointed to cloud seeding as evidence that the government controlled Hurricane Helene."

Here's the link to this article:      Drama Queen Greene and Alex Jones Spread a Weather Control Conspiracy

I'll have to do a little research on this topic, but my memory tells me that Weather Control Conspiracies have been around for quite a while.

October 10, 1973 - Spiro T. Agnew resigned from Vice Presidency of the US of A

Agnew got caught taking kickbacks from contractors during his time as Baltimore county executive and governor of Maryland. And, to make matters worse, the payments had continued into his time as vice president of the US of A.

My, my how times have changed. If a high-ranking elected Republicult™ official were caught doing that today, the Supreme Court would bend over backwards to try to legally define the kickbacks as 'gratuities,' and the Republicult™ would nominate that official for even higher office.

So apparently FEMA is running out of money, and the Republicans refuse to reconvene congress to approve more funds for it.  I am not surprised Biden doesn't remember that he can reapportion the military budget for emergencies, he's a very old man, but I'd have thought at least one of his advisors would remember.

For content, I usually leave pamphlets and other printed Discordian bits from this site. I typically print a few things before a trip, and leave the reading material in airport, hotel, and sometimes national park public areas. Because I figure a bunch will get tossed by a custodian, I also try to put some in the "activities" displays - like the ones with brochures for local attractions. There's probably a lot of places you can leave a few bits of propaganda. I'll be including the picture trick.

I think it's really cool that OP found something. I have been looking for a decade.

hey I'm back guys.

the last oh, 2-3 years have been absolute dogshit. My mom has been falling prey to romance scams, has given thousands to this asshole, and our recent attempts to have her conserved have failed. This is before even touching on the SAGA of the emotional strain this whole thing has had on my immediate AND extended family. i am now looking to move out and leave her to her own devices ASAP.

Quote from: Majeh on October 05, 2024, 02:07:49 AMThen I was right the first time with my thread below, nothing doing to change Mr. Bones' Wild Ride, we were born here and we will die here. I'll get back to doing my shit and ignoring the rules that I think I can get away with ignoring. No sense playing by the established rules if those who set them aren't, I just have to keep my head down when I flip them off.

Sometimes I fall prey to the delusion that things could change, it's comfortable enough, gives me hope enough at times when I need some. The rest of the time I'm busy dancing the dance of Grandfather Nurgle and enjoying the entropy as we all sink on the ship we built together. The slow procession of decay is, at times, too slow for my liking. Still, such is the whim of the Grandfather and Eris herself, though she strikes me as one who is far more in line with Slaanesh. I make a point to only follow the mad gods, as the world itself is mad.

Um.  40K is a work of fiction.

Floriduh will soon be hit with a Category 5 hurricane, but Governor Ron DeSilliness is still playing politics.

"Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis refuses call from VP Kamala Harris ahead of Hurricane Milton: Source"

As per this article:

"Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has refused to take a call with Vice President Kamala Harris about Hurricane Milton, a source close to the governor told ABC News.

The DeSantis team claim the vice president's outreach is politically motivated, according to the source.

DeSantis staffers also said the governor has not spoken to President Joe Biden in the last few days.

DeSantis later said he was unaware that the vice president had reached out.

"No, I didn't know she called me. I saw [the report], but I was not aware of that," DeSantis said.

The governor also said he had not spoken to Biden but noted he was "thankful" that Biden "has approved what we asked for."

In response to DeSantis' purported snub, Harris called it "utterly responsible" and "selfish" to play "political games" at a time of crisis.

"People are in desperate need of support right now and playing political games with this moment, in these crisis situations, these are the height of emergency situations, it's utterly irresponsible, and it is selfish," Harris told reporters before boarding Air Force Two on Monday afternoon."

I suppose this is all that can be expected from a Republicult™ leader in Floriduh. But, given the potential severity of this hurricane, I would have hoped that even a turd like DeSilliness would be more than eager to gratefully accept all of the help he can possibly muster.

I think Hurricane Milton is going rank among the most destructive storms to ever hit the US of A.
