Wholemeal/wholewheat carbs will be more filling. Brown rice , despite being a lil chewy is very filling, and full of B vitamins to help boost energy. I had to eat my sandwich at work on WHITE bread... this is usually banned from my diet. I hate IBS. I know it hates me too. However it does mean I am very concious about what goes into my food..
Jamaican Jerk chicken with veg and brown rice is nice and healthy, as well as being spicy and tasty. If you have a fresh mango it goes well with a mango salsa. which is cool cos then you get loads of friut and veg goodness in your condiment. I can give both naughty and good recipies for the Jerk chicken. However some curries are rubbish with low fat yoghurt.(Kormas need to be walking heart attacks.. the substitution for yoghurt sucks) Miso with seaweed tofu and loads of soba brown noodles is tasty and very healthy and waay filling. you can do it with spuds too.
