Title: Inventive Uses for Prestidigitation - 5e
Post by: hooplala on May 21, 2019, 02:50:34 PM
So I started playing a Sorcerer recently. I am trying to think of ways to really push the uses of the cantrip of prestidigitation. All suggestions are welcome. I also have Minor Illusion, and my staff has Major Illusion.

Some methods I have come up with so far:

-lighting the strings on the bows of archers

-making water in opaque mugs taste like beer or wine

-making a copper piece appear to be gold

-cleaning clothing in market squares for money

Any other devious uses?

You can use it to move small objects around and make people believe you're a wizard.

-Jazz up your sock puppets, or make dolls appear to talk
-Create rimshots or laugh tracks after people crack a joke
-Blow pipe smoke into a dragon or boat or something, gandalf style
-Make your eyes glow to emphasize an important point

Prestidigitation was created so that you can piss someone else's pants

You could kill someone.

Wait until they're eating and move a crumb into their esophagus.
