Title: (((Puppet strings))): the thread, the job, the lifestyle
Post by: Hagtard Celine Dion Mustard on August 15, 2017, 12:30:37 AM
This whole conflict is as scripted and staged as reality television. You guys are backing a fixed horse. It's like rooting for a pro wrestler, or gambling on the Internet.

I wonder if it was "reality TV" for the lady that got run over?  Or the black dude who got beaten down in the parking garage.

You postmodern fuckbags are a waste of time.

The fucking Nazis hold their rallies in Seattle and as much as I want to fuck them up, I am not willing to drive an hour in shitty traffic in my slowly disintegrating car. And I feel bad about that.

You seem very interested in making it look like we don't actually have a Nazi problem.

I can only think of two reasons why you'd do this:

1.  You're sympathetic to the mouth-breathers, or

2.  You're too pretentious to breathe.

I am sure there are other possibilities, but those are the only two that come to mind.  Either way, fuck off.  Humans are talking.

1.) Nobody said "Let's all ignore the cause of the Nazis coming out of the closet." In fact, last I checked, there are daily discussions on this forum regarding that very thing.
2.) For those who don't have the ability (Due to NOT being a seasoned politician or well supported activist) to actually tackle the systemic issues and corruption that allowed this to happen, shit-kicking Nazis is an effective and morally upstanding treatment for this "symptom."
3.) I would love to hear the many ways in which you are actually doing something about this situation that you seem to understand so much better than the rest of us. No, really, I'll wait.

And let's face it, even for those who don't have the ability to go out of their way to beat the snot out of Nazis or lobby against their political backers due to having family or loved ones that rely on them, there are ways to support the cause. And let me tell you, none of those forms of support include condemning the beating of Nazis - Regardless of the cause of their stepping out into the public's eyes for support.

If you wanna sit there and act like fighting a deadly (http://www.charlotteobserver.com/latest-news/article166892887.html) symptom of the problem is below you, do so with your mouth firmly wrapped around an active tailpipe.

Like taking heroin for a headache.

If the Nazis had been ignored in Charlottesville, nothing would have happened. They'd have gone home and the statues would eventually be taken down because the opinions of Nazis don't actually matter. But that's not what anyone actually wants. What everyone actually wants any excuse to act like an animal.

So someone makes a phone call and a few dollars get funneled into the AntiFa account and before you know it, people are getting run over by Mustangs.

Lovely, lovely chaos. Our work here is done, folks.

And you know, I really admire how brave you all are in taking a stance against the one thing that's literally been portrayed as the ultimate human evil in some of the biggest blockbuster films our culture has produced. It must take a lot of integrity to be able to leap over the lowest possible bar.

However I will say that violence begets violence - I don't see an end to the escalating tensions that seem to be occurring in right now. It's not like the Nazis are gonna take being punched lying down. Things are gonna get worse before they get better.

I guess the best that we can hope for is the next Nazi rally gets met with even more resistance from people who are, unlike Elvis, seeing that allowing poisonous ideology to be openly expressed isn't a path with a good ending.

The only reason Nazis are in the spotlight now is because the default reaction to Nazism is no longer violence or disgust. They feel like they can step out and rally and foster support.

We don't like that. We like'em scared and isolated. Their fear and isolation has been steadily decreasing over the last decade, likely due to the war on Political Correctness being turned into a Hate Speech Defense circle-jerk.

Evelyn Beatrice Hall's famous rendition of Voltaire's ideologies should've, instead, read something like "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it. But if you call Will a n***er one more time, I'm gonna shove that powdered wig so far up your arse, you'll be coughing up white curlies for a year."

Do you even know what Nazism is? Let me spell it out for you: THEY WANT EVERYONE WHO ISN'T WHITE TO DIE OR LEAVE.

They're allowed to express their ideas like everyone else, sure. We're not taking that away from them. We just want them to be afraid of the same exclusion and violence they wish to perpetuate against minorities when they build up the courage to express their ideas.
