tried something out today in the youtube masher, and it was so good I thought I'd share it with you folk.

Silencer vs Twin Peaks

possible spoilers, I guess.

I just finished with Mason & Dixon, and now I'm onto either Burr by Gore Vidal, or Nova Express by W. Burroughs.

Probably both.

Well, it'll take me a week or so to pick up Burr in earnest, but I'll be done with it shortly thereafter.

Not the new Morbid Angel album, at least not until I have enough constitution in my guts to listen to it, because I'm afraid.

Phil Collins - In the Air Tonight

This was kind of my reaction to this thread, but upon examination of it those whom I'd like to dedicate this song towards will probably just retreat behind the walls of their gated communities.

Insidious lost me the moment astral projection came into play.

There is simply no way to make astral projection scary, not now or ever.

Ever tried ketamine?

Lately the violent rhetoric amongst the base in the right has become more pronounced. Bad Cop has been particularly vitriolic as of late.

The more I struggle with politics, the more I think that nobody in the political arena represents me.

Favorite movie of all time: Baron Von Munchausen.

General Stuart will love you for life.

"Your reality sir, is lies and balderdash!"

And I, for one, want no part of it!

...Odd that he and I share that taste.  I've never met anyone else who really loves it.

Really? I'm kind of surprised by that.
I mean, it IS a Gilliam joint, his films are generally universally praised.

Recently I saw the movie Alice by Jan Svankmajer, which is a Czech adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, and its fucking phenomenal... dripping with symbolism, and its pure nightmare fuel. I only caught one overt reference to the soviet union, but I wouldnt be surprised if there are more.

Anyway:

this really is the best adaptation of Alice in Wonderland I've ever seen. (also inb4 Pedo)

Nebraska passed a similar concealed carry law about two years ago.
Honestly I don't know that it made too much of a difference, being that plenty of people around here were packing anyway.

Although, I should add, that many businesses started putting up signs at this point that specifically stated your not allowed to bring a weapon in.

I cant fucking believe this shit. I mean, I'm pretty disgusted by ANY law which removes the restriction of needing a warrant from law enforcement, but for such a law to blatantly target a specific minority group is beyond what even I thought was possible.

Current 93 - The Seven Seals are Revealed at the end of Time

which... you know, is one of his good songs.
Along with , I Have A Special Plan for This World

And while I think those two songs are good, they're both kind of a rehash of this:

Which, I suppose, is what I'm actually listening to at the moment I post this.

YEAH

David Tibet can be great when he's on it. sometimes he's like a broken record though. I kind of wish he'd never appeared on any of the Death In June records, except for maybe 1888. He sort of dulls the Douglas high.

MY FAVES

are still earthcoversearth and swastikas for goddy. Sleep has his house and Imperium. I actually have way too much Current 93, it's kind of rediculous.

I like David Tibet, but when he's bad he's reaally bad.
The new album is ok, though.
