crater! Although i have no proof actually. so yeah never
mind the details of the geology, think about runoff instead

I wish I was on a real computer right now so I could get a better look at the area. What makes you think it's the central peak of an impact crater? And what about the runoff interests you?

Huh. I tried looking up some geographical/geological info on the region, but I couldn't get any pictures good enough to really see it properly, except for Google maps. Planet Earth makes identifying old impact craters a huge pain, what with the water and plants eroding the crap out of everything before we can get a look at it.
I can see it's part of a watershed region, which I guess would make it a problem if it's dry.

As for GoG {et aLL}
Look the maps are very deceiving 4 instance at the top of the grade
it is very steep & the #7 school bus could NOT make the grade in snow
with chains on. &I had to get off an push the #7 to keep it out of the
ditch on the east side of the grade approach corner ?/?
maybe this can be UNderstood these days the approach to the place
is called 170 once past the School on the left going south 170 goes down
hill and crosses a creek at the bottom then turns west maybe 1/4 or 1/8
mile (along South of creek) and into the steeply banked turn approach to
grade
Once up the hill the road intersects DUE east used to be Wier the road
west viers off to the NW instead of going due west kind of -|. Kemmer
or is it Gasner i forget
the due west road (was weir) (now Kemmer) desends to the creek and
then starts back up to turn South prior to turnning East again down
Steeply on the East flank | Ok so far
where Weir(old road) turns South was the drive way North 1/2 way N
on 20 acrea [] the creek crossed the driveway going east befor turning
south to go down the hill. looking at the satalite image makes one think
that it is all trees. THAT is not TRUE ... ther is a clearing / house (fallen
& barn on the nw 1/4 (5 acres) eXavtly why the aerial blots it over i donno

grew up there on the Mt. { is 1000 ft a Mt?) the drive way left
