Alrighty, I've seen a few things on the board and I have a topic I wanted to develop I touched on earlier.

Ground Rule:  This is not 4chan, duh, so cut the crap.  If you know a meme, saying it aloud to others that are sure to understand it does not make one a hopeless chantard, nor does saying "anonymous" so lets attempt to grow past that for a few moments.

I'm just linking it because it's really long and I don't think we have collapsible tags as far as I can tell.

It's more Anon rhetoric designed to rile the masses, as is expected.

The problem I have with this is the personal responsibility aspect of it.

It has been duly noted that innocent bystandards are considered acceptable loss in this operation, and that's where I take issue with it.

I was there for Habbo Hotel, Scientology and a shit ton of others, but this one is different.  Innocent people's livelihoods and retirement are on the line.

It brings to mind that quote "before the revolution, man exploited man, but since then, it's all gotten turned around"

Doing this is not going to end greed and oppression.  I'm all for hitting proper targets in the nuts, but once you start claiming innocent bystandards as acceptable loss you are, by definition, a terrorist.

To allow for the kind of real liberty or freedom where even total scumfuck cretins are allowed to prosper side by side with decent folk, with all the same rights, we must all decide to be held accountable.  This isn't being held accountable.  This is being a terrorist with a mask.  Even if it has a societal gain for the downtrodden, it's not fixing the problem, it's just changing the hand the glove is on.

I hate the monarch scumbags at NYSE too, but there is better ways too deal with this, and they aren't even all pleasant or politically correct.  I agree something still needs to be done, but hitting innocent bystandards is not at all cool with me.


It reminds me of that poem:

Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

The key function I have a problem with here is that they aren't proposing a model for a new way of life, just promising one the same way the current institution does.  If anonymous becomes any kind of institution it gains the flaw inherent to being a system:  That it will be exploited, and I'm starting to think that's what's happening.


These are just my views of course, and they are subject to your scrutiny.

I guess my question is then, if Anonymous is a discordian ideal (I tend to think it is, ymmv) then as a discordian, where do you draw the line in the sand?  When does morality come into play and how do you resolve that with your discordian views?

I just wrote up the guides for them to help noobs get started.

If you dig those games and need a place to play or a community to join I highly recommend the site.  I've looked all over and they are the best at what they do.

I heard a rumor that TGRR had passed.  Being that I'm allowed back on the site and his last activity is over a week ago, that seems legit.

In this thread I pay my respects to TGRR.

He was a horrible bastard, but I learned from him what true unwarranted self importance was, and in doing so, was able to identify similar behaviors in myself and learn to lulz at my own absurd ridiculousness...

In this fashion, this back and forth of nonsense (of both fail and lail) that went on for ages (and amused me to no end) I came to touch the spirit of Eris in a completely inappropriate way (yes, there).  Point is, the PD pdf was all well and good, but without something to sharpen your claws on, you can't embrace the spirit of discord.  You can't rail against teh establishment unless there is an establishment, and in my eyes, as a total noob, TGGR was that establishment.  All the sucklings ran to his aid and drank his pointless and poorly constructed prattling shit as gospel and I thought it was pathetic and desired nothing more than to kick him in his metaphorical balls, thereby embracing Eris.

Later my account was haxed and my IP banned and even applications years later were denied, showing me that I had truly pissed this man off, and that brought me great lulz, just knowing that.

I could never forget about those days... seriously, every fucking noob that came through here (and occasionally I ran into you old fuckers, you know who you are) had to go and find me and make some dumb ass fail comment and then run back to PD.  Ugh.  It was... tedious, but not like TGRR was tedious <3 .  They didn't hate me, they hated the idea of me because they were supposed to.  TGRR hated me personally with every fiber in his body... and he was an awful shitneck... but he was the establishment, and that establishment gave me something to wreak discord upon.

Later I took what I learned here and expanded to torment other site admins all over the net and honed my style and craft of pissing people off.  Got banned from every respectable and dis-respectable forum I visited (at least once) except FB because they didn't seem to give a shit no matter how fucked up I was acting, which is nice, but I am looking forward to seeing google+  I digress...

I hadn't been trolling in a good while, probably a year or more, and I ran into dr. howl on a chance meeting where I was slapping some pantywaste all over some crappy anon group an aquintance 23Fnord lured me to with the promise of lulz.  And now I'm here, about to have a pint of Guinness in honor of a massive, miserable, cocksucking, motherfucking, faggot-douche <insert additional offensive slurs until satisfied>.

Here's to YOU, TGRR.  Rest in Peace and best wishes to your family.

It's electronic/industrial/metal/goth type shit.  Liked by some, disliked by most.  Think of it as having an enema, except to your ear and your knowledge falls out instead of a bunch of feces.  If that doesn't make you want to fork over hard earned dollars I don't know what will.

It's also highly recommended to listen stuff to this after eating a bunch of LSD, it totally mellows you out, man.
