For FUCKSSAKE...
Until a few weeks ago, I've only heard of these hag-beasts who are generally referred to as "twilight moms/grandmothers". More recently, I've had the displeasure of actually witnessing this disturbing phenomena; more and more it seems. It boggles my mind how an adult woman could get so worked up over the mindless drivel of the books or even more disturbing...the inept actors teen boys running around shirtless like sparkle-pixies...The cradle-robbing factor alone gives me the creeps. So many people just need to grow the fuck up.

Grandmas? :vom:
UGH! Grown women should know better.
So I guess that Burger King commercial is more factual than I had realized.
So, it's perfectly okay for a 40 year old woman to fap to a 17 year old boy, but not for a 40 year old man fapping to a 17 year old girl, right?
As an aside, the actors are actually rather good. Just read what they have to work with, and see them in some other things. This is going to haunt them forever, but I'm sure the millions and millions they are making from it will fill the hole in their hearts.

That's pretty much what I gather from social mores, yes.
But it's more like: a 40 year old woman fapping to 17 year old boy pretending to be a 100 year old man banging a 17 year old girl.
With a dash of furries.

:lulz: Yeah, this is truth.
God, I don't see how anyone could get into it. When I watched it, the angst overfilled my TV and leaked onto the carpet. I'll never get the stains out.

No. We tend to wait until they turn 18, for legal purposes.
i wish that there was a vampire movie in which the vampires are all played by hot young 20 somethings, but act and talk like they're octogenarians.

"Get off mah lawn you hooligan mortals"?
So Twilight mixed with some Gran Torino?
visualize an episode of The Golden Girls
but with hot 20somethings as the old biddies
Oh! Oh! What about the badassery of Clint Eastwood and the biddie-ness of Golden Girls PLUS hot 20-somethings? :aaa:

I find it hard to believe that grown women can be this stupid.
It's common practice here to break the links we use while trolling.

Ah, so that they can't see where the links came from?
Sorry, changed it now.
Yep. If we want them to trace everything back to here, we do it in other ways.

For the same reason I have Star Wars tattoos I guess...Only I won't regret having them in
20 10 5 3 years when the next big thing comes out.
I thought that this was StarWars to some people? 33 years after Star Wars came out, the people who thought it was a childish and badly written waste of time have stopped expressing an opinion on it because they just don't care. Three decades hence, can you imagine getting worked up over Twilight?

Yes.
If my nieces got into it, yes.
It will only be considered a travesty if the voices dismissing it are still louder than those for whom it forms part of some "golden age" nostalgia. Even if right now for them it's just background - a generation distinguishes and defines itself by its collective totems.
EDIT - this is, of course, just speculative horrormirth.

Made my eyes bleed, and ruptured my spleen. Twilight moms are gross. :x :x :x :argh!:
Ok, I read the books, and they aren't much worse than anything else that gets sold in the wal mart book section, so I can see why they'd get read among the older crowd (hell I borrowed them from my grandmother), but what the hell is with the fandom?
Forget the twilight moms, there are seriously people who get twilight tattoos, at all?

I like how the motto has both a creepy cougar feel as well as a grandiose overestimation of their importance. I hardly think a group a middle aged women obsessed with a particular movie have the ability to rule the world.
