enjoyable track, cool atmosphere. How'd you make it?
If I told you I'd summoned up demons and forced them into labour, I'd sadly be lying.
I did however use Acid. Unfortunately, not THAT acid, but sony acid pro, some premade samples and some funky envelopes and a whole host of VST bullshit.
I'm so glad that track is finished. I will actually be able to hear it all the way through in one go now.
:P

and before i forget, if this is your soul then stick your soul up your arse. i heard better music coming from the mouths of my rape victims.
:?
I believe they know each other from elsewhere. Possibly meatspace.
meatspace it is, i'm looking at her now. she's not so pretty with a mouthfull of chips.
except to me that is.
It's the Dao/EvT of 2009.
Eve, I liked the perversity of waiting until the last 30 seconds to bring in a consistent drum beat, and then quickly ending it.
I forgot to mention it's a 3 minute sample. Plus I'm too lazy to finish it... >.<
That was pretty enjoyable.

I think 3 minutes is long enough.
I like the ambience on the earlier drums, particularily what sounds like rim-shots.
Thanks for the feedback, happy to know my first attempt at an electronic chill wasn't a toilet effort. And to those who hated it, well, in the words of Dr Frank-N-Furter - "I didn't make him for you!"
Here's an old skool track from a few years ago (I was 16 >.<) back when I still had the capacity to record live: acoustic piano cover of 'Behind Blue Eyes' with some extra bits and pieces.

Hopefully I'll be able to record it better soon when I have some hardware up and running again <3
I really liked this. Sounds great to me, I also am fond of the first challenger, but this one is the victor.
definite winner,

great song well done!!! i am curious why are the angry/hard verses of this song always left out in cover versions?
"When my fist clenches, crack it open
Before I use it and lose my cool
When I smile, tell me some bad news
Before I laugh and act like a fool
If I swallow anything evil
Put your finger down my throat
If I shiver, please give me a blanket
Keep me warm, let me wear your coat"
I LIKES IT :fap: :fap:

Because Keith Moon is dead.
Also, Tori Amos called.

Why is it, whenever a chick singing and playing piano happens,
her name comes up?
do we know of none others?
I do. But I don't like talking about my ex-gf.

My first thought was Fiona Apple. My second was Regina Spektor. Tori came in third.
must be a ho for piano-playing singers. i've seen all three of them in the last couple of years. Tori twice actually.

If the shoe fits...
Notice I didn't say Aretha, Diamanda Galas, or Alicia Keyes.
It's the genre, people. Get used to it.
So actually I fit into a particular genre rather than actually physically sounding like any of these people, upon comparison of tracks.
What is that genre called anyway?
pre-menstrual?
BTW - I'm not dissing, I quite like tori amos and I thought your track was phenomenal, especially for a 16 year old (voice instruments generally take quite a while longer to season)
Post moar songs! Not so fussy about the first track, IMO that shit's been done to death and it all just becomes background music for me

Menstrual rock.
Awesome. I'd like to dedicate this next track to my ovaries - without those guys, none of this could have been possible! *sobs unconvincingly*
By the way, I now really hope you're a smoking hot redhead.

No. Just someone who seemed to desperately want to be her. The only similarity was the hair. Unless, was Tori Amos batshit insane too?
Yeah I pretty much think she was.
