I'm taking it upon myself to spearhead another INTERMITTENS.  I believe there is some pretender out there who is also claiming to be working on an Intermittens 8, but I'll believe that when I see it;)  But we can call this one Ocho or something to distinguish it.  The theme for this one is "Self Reliance," however you want to interpret that, be it survivalism, fallout shelters, drinking your own pee, criticism of groupthink, whatever.  I'm not going to be putting my own comics in this, but I'll be happy to provide an illustration or two if anybody needs one for a story.

Here's a few things I'd like if anybody wants to volunteer them:
Stories and lots of them
Nonfiction
Comics
Fake Ads
Cover art (If there are multiple submission I'll put it to a group vote)

As usual, it will be totally public domain and nonprofit.  I'm planning to release it as a pdf.  Anyone interested?

I'd like to apologize to The Good Reverend Roger for truncating his name.  I was foolish to assume that sort of familiarity, and I won't let it happen again.  I realize that I have my differences of opinion with him and many others on the board, but I did not mean to personally insult you, The Good Reverend Roger, and I feel ashamed for having done so, repeatedly.  You said you gave me hints, but these went right over my head, I was too dense and too busy being a self involved fuckhead.  I am sorry.

Just saw this over at hulu. I normally don't find Jimmy Fallon very funny at all, but he does a pretty fair Neil Young impression that succeeded in making me laugh at the Jimmy Fallon show for the first time ever.  As for all you European types who can't get hulu, what can I say except you're just SOL on this video [edit maybe this one will work for you].

Ok, so I'm been having an argument on the Webcomic List Forums about the Comic Sans font that is so much maligned.  Personally, I don't get why people hate it so much, and I have a sneaking suspicion it's just bandwagon behavior and most of these haters wouldn't know Comic Sans from Helvetica.  But I figure PD.com is a churning cauldron of hatred, so if I'm likely to hear a decent argument against Comic Sans it would be here.  So anyone have any thoughts?

This summer I made vichyssoise a couple times and it turned out really well, although I haven't got access to a food processor so can't make it any more.  Of course, my favorite is gazpacho, which I have no idea how to make but enjoy immensely.

Hi everyone, I have a new webcomic called Bonejangles, that has sort of a Discordian flavor to it.  You all can be the judges of that.  Here's a sample comic.  Any feedback is appreciated.



By the way, I am a big fan of the Illuminatus trilogy, so it is nice to be here on the Discordian forums!
