"The Limey". Terrence Stamp plays some kind of cockney underworld figure, whose in Los Angeles or somewhere to avenge the dissappearance of his daughter. Much rhyming slang ensues, such as "E's me noo China" (Chine --> China plate --> mate). It was the Fonda from Easy Rider wot dunnit, and for some reason, he gets a couple of monologues reminiscing about the sixties, as an added bonus, or punishment.
Those other Guy Ritchie films - Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and even Layer Cake, which wasn't as good - should be included too, surely. Oh, and Shallow Grave. Except Shallow Grave is in Edinburgh, I think, even though there's a couple of cockneys in it.
Are You Being Served?
