This particular Bad Future is very close to home for me, because I currently live in the Killeen, TX area. I was, for a time, fearlessly walking the two miles to the nearest gas station on a semi regular basis. Now I’m genuinely scared to walk too far down the street.

Note that I walked through gang territory in Pittsburgh, the bad part of town in Butler, etc, for most of my life without fear. I was mugged only once, ever. 2AM, on foot, in the wrong side of the tracks was generally a good night for me, and that’s not some kind of comparative statement.

White southern suburbia terrifies me in a way that the gang territories and the projects never, ever did. And you put the finger on precisely why.

Do you have self-appointed Citizens On Patrol looking for some Bad Hombres, or just a general attitude, and/or side-eye or... what makes you feel that way?

There is a nowhere Podunk town of maybe 3,000 people near me. After 9/11 people were patrolling the streets armed on horseback to protect the town from a possible Al Qaeda attack. I'm sure they were all having the time of their lives, and there there are plenty of people around here who would love to make that a permanent thing.

Combination of general attitude (a kid was sent death threats by adults for being trans) and the nearest other town being Fort Hood. I get along with vets most of the time, but I am finding more and more reason to fear the military and those in it when I bump shoulders with them daily.

This isn’t concerning one bit. The timing is entirely innocent, as is just about everything to do with it. There is no way in hell anyone could get the idea that there’s a state of combat readiness in the neo-Nazi community. This is absolutely a re-enactment plane and in no way would ever potentially be used for any other purposes.

Put bluntly, the truth is way less concerning to me than the appearance is. I know what’s realistic, and I know what is going to create more fucking terror in a country where significant minorities already feel a loaded gun to the back of their head.

And so, while the chances are slim that it is the case, I am choosing to believe that the pilot is a neo-fascist in the absence of evidence to the contrary, because it will prepare me for how everyone else is going to react.

On the bright side, in Azerbaijan, it’s possible that human equivalent intelligences regardless of physical provenance might have personhood. Yeah, yeah, it’s a PR stunt, but it’s a PR stunt that makes it more likely they’re granted rights automatically in that country at least.

This is a pretty middle of the road chatbot inside an uncanny valley body with some basic tasks it’s capable of, and poor motor skills. Imagine something with the intelligence level, ability to learn and motor skills of an average cat, and a robust chatbot front-end. You point at this thing and go “why can’t the new one have rights if that glorified telephone voice agent can?”

So:

This shitbag hated Trump, not because Trump was too far right, but because he wasn’t going full Axis Powers. That’s right, this guy was anti-Trump because Trump wasn’t enough of a Nazi, wasn’t willing enough to murder innocents.

He himself is a neo-Nazi, dark enlightenment scumfuck, so you can at least partially blame Trump and his creatures anyhow.

Eleven worshippers dead at least, four police wounded. This guy was really loaded too: a rifle (AR pattern) and three handguns. No word on how heavy on ammunition he was, but he’s apparently alive still. That’s right, the armed attempted-cop-killer nazi scumfuck was captured alive. Chances are he ran totally dry or was loaded with weeks worth of ammo and just didn’t feel like rolling those dice.

Word is on the news sites I’ve seen that this is probably the most deadly anti-Semitic act in US history.

(The hate for him is more perfunctory right now, like the hate for Michael Moore. He’s definitely not actively up in the face of the average dipshit, they just share hatememes because that’s who they are.)

I think I figured out the bothersome key link of it all anyway: these went to people who are widely considered “Heads” of the conspiracy to defraud the Orange Bastard. That doesn’t fit Sharpton, not quite. It more fits Todd and Pelosi. Maddow and Sharpton are more on the order of “pawns” in these guys views, gleefully following the orders of their evil globalist overlords. I think Moore might also be considered a leader in the conspiracy, but I’m not quite sure, it’s been a bit.

I can’t see Maddow being a specified target for some reason. Something about her compared with the other targets thus far doesn’t smell right. I can see a to whom it may concern at MSNBC, or one aimed directly at Todd. But Maddow just does not quite fit the bill, and I can’t figure out why I have that feeling.

Thinking on this, it’s likely this will lead to a precipitous decrease in trans folks with housing. In other words: the vast majority of an entire minority demographic is about to be homeless. If the DOJ says that they’re not a protected class and the first state level lawsuit turns up with state protections not overriding federal law, the whole demographic might end up unemployed, nationwide, with very very limited exceptions.

This is genuinely apocalyptic for people like me. I’m still alive because other trans people have been sending me enough cash to stay afloat. I’m not alone in this, either, most of my friends can’t help me because they’re on someone else’s lifeline or they’re helping several other people already.

I predict a sudden rash of suicides in my demographic, with a long, fat tail. The more I think about this, the worse it gets.

Some of the people who only received one might receive another, though, that was something he kept doing. I think that’s more likely.
