I know, I'm evil, but that was a lead-in.
We should start designing our own currency, (note that in the US private can issue bonds/stock/giftcard, aka bonds = fair game, but currency w/o barter backing it, a date= crime.)
let's start Economic OM, with non discordian or subtle discordian refs on the note only, so as to make it seem like it's for real.

The only problem is actually making it worth something.  In other words, when people give it to us, we actually have to do something.  Promissary notes are worthless unless you can be kept to the promise and that would take effort.

However, you should start an American Monarchist movement to get relatives of the Emporer back in power.

Indeed.  Perhaps it would be more effective to print up notes that say, "this note entitles the bearer to one free backrub".

Where do we find them, and will they be as benevolent?
But good Idea. Especially since He was.

I was thinking, in the early morning when I posted this, let's go salt.
It worked for the romans...

Does it matter if they're benevolent?

I think it would be funnier if they were total dicks.

I have honor. I have memory. I keep promises after other people forget about them.
The effort is no prob, to me.

[pseudo-nationalism] But this is america we're talking about. NO WAY IN THUD will we get one stated if they are dicks. We still love our selective freedoms, and don't like open dictators.[/pseudo-natonalism]
