Title: Slogans aimed at low-level bureaucrats
Post by: Starship, take me on December 09, 2006, 06:19:51 AM
I'm wondering what ideas you have on slogans to be pasted up at the offices of state gov't workers.  Here are two ideas, does anyone have better phrases or succinct ways to put these:

"R.I.P. Habeas Corpus - Remember, Stalin purged other Communists first"

"Bored?  Paperwork sabotage is the answer!"

If you can make these more pithy, let me know.  Hopefully, we can get gov't workers to practice subversion.

While I do not condone illegal acts of any kind, here are some satirical slogans:

"Shits and giggles: Because you're going to die chained to your desk."

"Why... ah fuck it. I'll think of something later, maybe.

simply flooding the place with printouts of obvious rules.

add a new one every day.

real simple like "lock this door after 18:00", centered on a sheet of paper, large font.

stuff like that.

make it useful rules. logical rules.

but flood the place. make sure you're not noticed of course.

when it starts becoming really full, start replacing the old rules with slight variations of the ones you put there a few weeks ago.

work slowly. make them more ridiculous every time you replace one.

try to never get caught.

When you empty pot of coffee make more or turn the maker off.

Put this switch in the off position if you are the last to leave the room.

Check large coffee urn for midgets every time you enter the room.

Check that the refidgerators light is off when you close the refidgerator door.

Do not stick metal objects into the microwave unless it is a light bulb suspended in a glass of water in this case first place the light switch into the off position.

Please mark your lunch with your name.

Do not ignore the signs in this room.

Ignore the sign on the hallway side of the door.

off course, I think I'm offering sugestions for second phaze.

Work for the Government?

They're paying you out of your own taxes.
