damn LHX! sorting out all the world's troubles is a tall order for SSOOKN. we had the bar set much lower at 'widely known occult order, source of much infighting and litigation 100+ years after the fact'.

shit where do all these pages come from?? i thought i once read the entire book .. ok, perhaps it was years ago.

also, the stuff about scientists operating purely within the orderly is not really true, the good ones attain a very natural balance between order and disorder. simply look at their desks.

seriously, cause i think this is what they mean. striking the right balance between order and disorder leads to chaos = the birthplace of all (according to the greek etymology posted in another thread) = creativity = necessary for scientific progress.
