Title: The Threadjack Depository

and I haven't an idea of what I want to say.  Maybe someone who wants something read into a microphone could send me some material and I'd speak it nice and upload it somewhere.

As far as I can tell, everything except TGRR's rants are copylefted, so Have at it.

Maybe you can recite Enrico's Parable of the Golden Bull.

I don't know if I could really do a very Enrico-esque voice.  In fact I'm really starting to dislike my voice.

However I did do a little mini-rant, which I may end up foisting off as a pre-release of anything meaningful to come.

That's what effects are for.  I recorded my daughter saying some gibberish over the weekend, by the time I was done messing with it she sounded like a demonic chihauha.

Yeah.  I don't really like my voice either, but it's the only one I got.

It's like any other instrument though, you've just got to tailor it to what you want to do, and just experiment.

Yeah, I think he has a very convincing preacher voice.  I mean, I was totally captivated.  BTW, LMNO how did you get the audience sounds?

Shit! I almost forgot. Could you do this with the BJS intro you recorded for me? Sounds brilliant btw don't redo the vocal.

Ok, crown noises & applause for the vox intro.  You got it.

Hope you don't mind the same ones I used for RWHN.

Should be fine. On a minus note the work you did on the main voice might need redone - I'm getting serious pops when I pitch shift it. I think it might be something to do with the reverb, maybe needs pitch shifted first.

Strange you're getting that off this one, and not the first.

Lemme look into it.

Update:

My friends and I have begun recording entertaining conversations.  If I get one good enough, I'll megaupload it.

This is where I'm dropping the non-sequitors and other miscellany from the Propoganda threads.

NOTHING HAS BEEN DELETED.

Title: Pope, Saint, Messiah, etc. Cards?
Post by: bubz_the_troll on July 16, 2007, 01:26:13 AM
Does anyone actually carry one of those things?  I think they are stupid.  When get around to making my own Discordian holy book I'm leaving them out.

that's great.

wrong subforum to talk about it, though.

Well, not really Trip0. The cards were originally supposed to be a bit of a mindfuck, after all.

No I never hand out cards telling people they are popes 'n' shit.

I find dialogue is more effective, or at least funnier.

yeah but this is the Propaganda Depository "finished works ONLY" section, not O:MF.

as far as pope cards concerns, the only thing relevant here would be where to find them. which is on Syn's site:

www.poee.co.uk .

Actually, I carry my pope card in my wallet.  No one's ever asked to see it, though.

Also, thread moved.

Yeah I've got one in my wallet too.  Not sure why though.  I wonder what would happen if I "accidentally" gave that to a police officer that pulled me over for speeding rather than my license.

Every single time I log in to the AWS, there are no new messages. or sometimes only one new message. I am getting the feeling that it cannot possibly be that dead, so what am I doing wrong?

OK, never mind, because I just logged on and there are a raft of new messages. I'm just high, is all.
