I'm writing a techno-industrial song called "Too Many Goddamn Vampires" that I intend to get played at the local goth night (it's good to be friends with the DJ).
What I need:
1. An audio clip of the last line in Lost Boys: "The one thing about Santa lara I never could stomach... too many goddamn vampires."
2. Things you find funny and annoying about people who pretend to be vampires (for lyrical content). Rhyming not required.

i was at a goth/industrial party one that had some (loud techno industrial noise) track playing with the lyrics "SATAN IM DISCO" (german, "IM" = "IN"), i thought that was hilarious. maybe you can steal it.
also, i'm not really sure if that were the actual lyrics (it was distorted), maybe it was my imagination running with me, in which case it wouldn't be actual stealing :)
one annoying thing i find about them, is that they are always looking at eachother, like rating whose "look" is better, which guys are just wearing black and a band t-shirt, which ones wear the fishnets, the eyeliners, the shiny plastic stuff, always trying to establish some sort of pecking order who's got the most impeccable goth outfit.
the thing is, in regular clubs, some woman also do this, but they are more diverse (at least where i go), and in goth clubs, it's also the boys. and they are boys, not men.
though, to be honest, some of them are indeed quite pretty to look at.
so, another thing that annoys me are the fugly ones :-D

I've actually heard of people actually shaping their teeth into fangs. I am unfortunate in that I naturally have "vampiric" teeth. That was really annoying in college. All of the fuckin goth kids, "Cool, are you a vampire?"

Sorry...the thing I find most annoying is that stupid assertion in the V:tM sourcebooks that claims the feeding process is sexy. They call it "the Kiss". Sorry, but I donate blood on a regular basis and I cannot imagine it being remotely enjoyable. One of my RPG characters has a vampire boyfriend who feeds on her 'cause she has accelerated healing (meaning he can take a pint every night w/o hurting her), but it ain't sexy.
That and the VLARPers who settle fights via rock/paper/scissors. Fuck that!

one time we figured out how to create a perpetuum mobile from the fact that (some) vampires have no mirror image. couldn't be done. on account of MAGIC :sad:
fucking vampires. that was the most depressing roleplaying campaign i ever played. the ST did a good job though, just about EVERY other vampire was a fucking annoying whiny emo goth crying (blood) about how they could never see a sunset anymore etc :roll:
