Title: Sermon 57: Shut The Hell Up.
Post by: The Good Reverend Roger on April 29, 2007, 01:53:44 AM
Sit down, shut the hell up, and listen.

Just look at you.  Just fucking look at yourself, huddled in the corner like the trapped rat you are.  Look what you've done to yourself.  You've whored yourself out to The Machine,  for so long that you no longer know what living is.  You've become convinced that "success" is a bigger SUV, or a 48" plasma screen, or another zero before the decimal point in your bank account.

You forgot everything.  You forgot every single thing that Hank Williams Sr and Buck Owens tried to teach you about what was good and holy and right about America, the America that was.  Drinking and gambling and shooting out the lights and howling at the moon...THAT'S what America - the REAL America - is all about.  America USED to have one HUGE advantage over our European buddies...the ability to just fucking lose it and go nuts once in a a while...but we've lost that, and now the pressure just builds and builds until people snap out of it and look around at what's going on around them...and that's where we get our Oswalds and our Chos.

GODDAMN IT, AMERICANS!  STOP DOING STUPID SHIT STOP ACTING LIKE SLAVES STOP CHASING THE MECHANICAL RABBIT STOP STOP STOP WAKE THE FUCK UP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WAKE THE FUCK UP!

For the love of "Bob", didn't ANY of you listen to what Frank Sinatra was telling you?   Or Elton John?  Or The King?  Yeah.  The King.  Elvis told you what the hell was important, but that wasn't GOOD enough, was it?  COOL was HARD WORK, Slack was TOO MUCH EFFORT, so instead you turned yourself into another rat in the rigged race we call "The American Nightmare ".

When is the last time you had FUN?  Remember fun?  Remember hanging out the window of your beater car, shooting stop signs and laughing til you damn near wreck?  When's the last time you really took a pointless chance with your life?  That's why you forgot how to live, dumbass!  Because you let yourself get SAFE!  You even convinced yourself that SAFE was GOOD, when it's really nothing but soma to make you sit down, shut up, and stop interfering with production.

So when was it?  When's the last time you treated an asshole the way they deserved?  When's the last time you just said what you really thought?  WHEN'S THE LAST TIME YOU PUNCHED A PRICK INNA FACE!  CRIPES!  Even Richard Nixon had more fun than you.

Let me close by adding that you aren't the future, at least not as long as you keep acting like sheep.  WE'RE the future...the FREAKS!  Pure-blooded Yeti like Cain and ECH and Cramulous and BMW and Felix and all the other shitheads at http://www.principiadiscordia.com/forum/index.php And now you can decide...are you on the train with the Superior Mutants, or are you on the tracks with the sheep?

Or kill me.

Most people are so deluded they've fully bought into CoN entertainments without thinking if they actually like it.

I really like the hate in this one.  It's focused enough to make you smile, but vague enough to get anyone a bit riled. :mittens:

Well, I liked it very much. And just for the hell of it the last time was the night i got busted. They cuffed me and strapped me down to make themselves feel safe. Heh, I guess I was tearing some assholes apart. Ahem. And for some very mysterious reason I still didn't go to jail. Is there a lesson there?

I used to be lazier, but that's leaving my system as I learn discipline and self-respect.

Hate is like an armor, contempt is a defense.  It comes into play neccesarily when it is needed, but I don't want a habit of it.

everyone is hated but nobody lets them know about it.

hating isn't about making yourself despise people. it's about letting them know how despised they already are.

Bullshit.  Hate is like a big rake.  And you can hit people in the face with it.

And if you don't hate pretty much full time, then you aren't paying attention.

there is a difference between enjoying life and being forced into the Planet Earth Experience in 2007

you can enjoy life all you want
but
that doesnt mean you have to pretend that the presence of unnecessary pain and suffering doesnt piss you off

in FACT - it could be said that a enjoyment of life could lead somebody to HATE EVEN MORE

The only way people learn anything is through discussion and conflict. I'm tired of all these fucks who just write " Yay Roger. I really enjoyed that one. Nice!"

Now if your not Roger, please don't answer for him.

I'm rarely in situations where more than usual levels of contempt are required.

Now, on another hand, I've developed a tendency to lecture miscreants, curse at rude strangers, and generally make my feelings known when people are disrespectful, stupid, or superstitious.

Would Dr. Cow Ass please report to the laboratory?  Doctor, I cannot believe you've been performing experiments of this type in our lab.  What are your credentials?  Asstology?  That's it?  No wonder.  And here you are trying to perform lobotomies.  These reports show that there was a slightly major problem with that self-lobotomy you've been experimenting with.  You did the wrong end.  We're going to have to sew up your ass for several weeks, and if that really is where you're brain was located, it might take years of therapy to get you back into some semblance of working intelligible order.  Not to mention the legal complications of self-lobotomy.  We'll take it from here.  It's all we can do.

2.  You'd hardly be the first to make that mistake.  Of course, if you decide it's all a joke, you'll never get the punchline.

It occurs to me that this is the second rant of mine that Cowass has intentionally derailed, in some weird attempt at a mating ritual of some kind.

Sorry, Cowass, I won't fuck you.

Now, do you suppose you can restrain yourself from this sort of thing, or do you get stuffed in the box with AKK?

Roger, do you enjoy life?

Cowass, why are you afraid of Black Peoples?

Nice

I'll take that as a no. I'll also take the next three posts as no's as well. I'm done.

Take it however you like.  You already failed when you took the sacred art of ranting to be an indication of whether or not someone is happy.

I'm sorry, Cowass, your woeful ignorance just isn't my problem.

That's very true. Why rant when your not angry. But your angry all the time in all forums.

I'm thinking I made the mistake of taking you and your writing style too seriously.

No.

There was this one time he wasn't the least angry.

I hope that never happens again.

It's freaky.  Like taking drugs and feeling even more normal, or watching someone surf on the Pacific.

Worrisome.

Um.  You had to be there.

The pacific is on the west coast, and has hardly a ripple to it.

It's so-named because it's PEACEFUL.

And I never made a habit of controlled substances.  This is how I normally am.

Who have you been talking too?

Hypothetically speaking, If I were to get stuffed in this "box" with AKK could I do stuff with/to him?

Inspiration!

Oh that reminds me, i finished my pepperspray/cooking utensil.
I wish i could convey with words or pictures how much fun it is to have (near)pure capsaicin available 24/7.
Whenever i get bored i just spray it in my mouth. 15 minutes entertainment right there.
I really should spray it in someones eyes [FOR SCIENCE!] but i am not enough of a bastard to do it to my friends, and i don't let unliked people into my house.
Oh, the stuff burns quite well (well duh, its oil) and doing that can easily fill the room with irritating fumes :D
I'm not sure wether that is because of the spraying or the burning, though.

My Dionysiac celebration is at least weekly, thank you very much Reverend. Few things are more Southern than getting roaring drunk and walking around being loud as hell. Roaring down the interstate blaring metal, trolling uptight business-mob wannabes with nothing but a black robe and a label-maker. My time to be a hoodlum is MINE to take!

Hrmmmm... That's my style, watch from a corner till I can find a vulnerable spot, then strike as hard as I can.

I live like a serious fruitcake, I'm always astonished to wake up in the morning, but, this is a good feeling... I try to do my part everyday, and I work desperately to get people to chill the fuck out and respect one another, while contemplating punching some people relentlessly... As much as I dislike violence, sometimes, it's the only way to shake the apple loose from the tree, and, well, fuck it, who really gives a shit, anyway?.. People like me for some reason I can't explain... Maybe it's because they sense that I give a shit... When I actually started to give a shit, I noticed a real change in people's reactions to me... They're all very sensitive, but the first paradigm shift is the worst.

there is a difference between enjoying life and being forced into the Planet Earth Experience in 2007

you can enjoy life all you want
but
that doesnt mean you have to pretend that the presence of unnecessary pain and suffering doesnt piss you off

in FACT - it could be said that a enjoyment of life could lead somebody to HATE EVEN MORE

and HATE EFFECTIVELY
Umm, I know I'm like three years too late, but, yes, THIS.  This sums up my present-day hate nicely.
