:mittens:
Loved the union jack, not sure if the ssb worked as well - something about the swasticas made it not look like the same flag or something. The UJ is fkin awesome tho - couldn't work out what was wrong for a split second but I knew it was nazi, I love that kinda subliminal first impression
Thanks man. The US one is obvious, but I think it needs to be.
As always, I see an opportunity to make money out of subversion:

****Classic Cybin U-turn alert ****
US one will probably work better on a teeshirt because it'll pass for the real deal until you get close up
;)
Yep.
Awesome.
And a great double-edged message, too.
The UK flag reminds me of a logo designing thing a friend of mine tried at school (some art thing), he wrapped the union jack design around a cube and if you looked at it from an angle, it looked like that. I don't think he did it intentionally though.
The teacher freaked out and he got teh fail.
The teacher may or may not have been a j000, i don't rightly know.
The T-shirts look good, but I reckon it works better for the american flag.

Banning is the most venomous form of flattery
Questions:
1: Did you get my BIP/GSP POEEcast?
2: Personally, how did it feel to create all those swastika images? I'm just wondering if the imagery started bugging you while you were working with it.

I did, I'll get to it early next week. And thank you for keeping them coming.

I'm glad you asked that. I thought it went without saying, but I think I should say that I feel dirty and I'm disgusted by them, but am strangely amused by the whole thing. Also I guess my kind of funnay is just badwrong. BUT the're strongly emotive and need to be seen and understood by many more that have actually seen and understood them - that's the point. I fully appreciate why CafePress banned them, not that it will stop me crying them opressors forever more. Congratulations to the one person who managed to purchase a "YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION UK" shirt before they shut me down.
Please, everyone feel free to print them off from the big versions at POEE and plaster them everywhere!
Its a pity CafePress doesn't have a flag, so we could swastika that....
EDIT: I am an imbecile, and called them CopyPress. I think my brain is in more danger than my liver. Srsly.
I was thinking of opening another shop with a swastika over a grab of their front page, but it's too much like effort and it'll just get banned again. ;)
CafeOppress have no intention of reinstating our shirts, the battle is lost, friends, but the war goes on...
I assume you have back-ups of all the shirt designs?
ECH,
would be willing to open a cafe press account for you
Oh hell yeah I've got backups. ;) I really appreciate the offer ECH, but I'm hoping to be in negotiations with a couple of shirt providers soon. Fuck CafePress, they'll just delete them as soon as they see them up there.
A'ight then. Be sure to post a link over here when you've got a new and hopefully more reasonable supplier set up.

product is available through traditional retail outlets
Step 1: Create one 'Not Paying Attention Shirt'
Step 2: Send to famous musician type. (Thom Yorke of Radiohead might be a good choice given the 'not paying attention' lyric of his)
Step 3: Enjoy media furore
Step 4: Strike up a deal with whatever enterprising company that wishes to mass-market shirt in the name of 'freedom of speech'. (Of course, they're lying...they just want to print your shirt because it's cool)
Step 5: Collect large cheque(s)
Step 6: Lulz

Step 6: whiskey and strippers
fixed that for ya
I think 'LULZ' implies 'whisky and strippers' without saying 'whisky and strippers.' ;)
You could be right but I prefer my strippers to be explicit rather than implicit.
Dunno about whiskey.
frickin' discordians.
you're debating over the 6th point of my list.
Syn' - but otherwise it's a sound plan?

I've got that version. :) I had always meant to rip it off, just didn't get around to it until lately.
[off topic]
Hey Syn - would you mind hosting the images for my Discordians in History article on your site? Photobucket pulled the one of the dude burning the chick lol. apparently their terms of service have something against 16th century tits.

Man. I got shafted on my cover of that book. I want the eebil flag cover!
somehow i get the feeling that the version with that cover isn't really being sold in the US
Yup, if you do a search on Amazon you don't see that cover at all. A couple with "no image available" so those may have the flag motif.
I have a feeling sales went way down when they used that cover.
i wonder even *if* they tried selling that cover on the US market.
covers are very often different on the other side of the ocean, they get changed for far less than flag-buggery
Even within the U.S. there will be variations. For example Wal-Mart often gets special "sanitized" versions of CDs. I remember Nirvana had to do some alterations to the In Utero album before Wal-Mart would sell it.
