Interesting thing about this diagram is that, although we bitch and whine about greys, there really aint a right or wrong path in this context.
Even though the middle path sure as hell aint the right one for me.
We all know where we are going, how are we going to get there?
"Life is an aimless drive that you take alone,
Might as well enjoy the ride, take the long way home."
-Bloodhound Gang
If it was to be a Robert Frost kind of thing, you might want to make the right and left paths be a bit more appealing.
But I do like the "...and die anyway" aspect.
This is a really good one. Personally, I'd flip it vertically, so the baby's at the top and the grave is at the bottom. If you trim off the gliffy tag, you should upload it to blackironprison.com
But wouldn't flipping it perhaps infer a "downhill slide" possibly putting across an idea that it's easy?

I'm not sure I understand. My knowledge of Frost is lacking, translation please?

And that has made all the difference."
Gotcha. I might play with this some more as time permits. It was just a thought I had in the car this morning and I wanted to Gliffy it up. I've got another one for "shrapnel" I'm working on as well.

Maybe make it horizontal? Because I think having death at the top can be a bit throwing off, because you read from top to bottom, so in reading it looks like you are "starting," if you will, with death. Which is not the case. So maybe flip it horizontally?
I hear ya. I think the perspective I was coming at was kind of a bird's eye view. Like you are looking down upon the game field of life. or something like that.
keep in mind that most people dont bow out gracefully
i dont know if it has hit mainstream consciousness yet - but perhaps there is room for some guides on how to die well
