I'll be using Lulu, so you get to order from them or like, Borders.com, but yeah. No more than $20, full of my shitty doodles.
You buy, I be happy.
I'm going to actually plan it out a bit tonight. I figure 50 pages, which some for commentary or whatever, biography BS, then like a chapter for sketches, colored pencil, and um...big shit like the street painting festivals.
If anything it's good promo merch for my table...And I will probably want one in about 3 weeks for Templecon. Fuck, I gotta get rollin'. :x
I refuse to buy.
Nothing personal, its just I've spent about $600 on books in the past 3 months and I've barely made a dent in my reading list.
I'll probably get around to buying it in a year or so, kind of like with Syn's version of the PD. Is that cool?
I might buy it.

You have a book obsession. Srsly.
I also need to get Syn's PD. Lol. Make that bitch autograph it too.
Of course with an artbook, you aren't reading much, are you? XD

It's all good. I threw one of these shameless polls up on each of my forums to see what the response would be...you know, for it to be actually worth it.
not buying currently, someday when im not a starving artist too
Publish an artbook and you won't be starving.
We can barter, bitch.
Perhaps, if I would be able to use my Borders employee discount..
after wedding+honeymoon, i may buy.

I worked at Borders for about 700 years. After the first few centuries the charm of after-work drinking with my misanthropist coworkers wore off and I hated it.
I still like the after-work drinking. I mostly hate being stuck in the cafe.. have been making coffee for too long. :x
I won't buy, but only because I hope you die poor and alone.
Only furries buy star wars fan art
just kidding, I'd buy it. Will there be a coloring section? A WOMP section? :p
I'm pretty stingy with my money, so honestly, I probably wouldn't, no offense. It's taken me this long to order the hard cover PD. And it's been out for how long? And the only reason I got it was because the Exec Director gave everyone Borders Gift Cards.

I'll publish a special WOMP edition further down the road.
Actually Cram, if you publish a book of WOMPs, I would fucking buy it and put it on the coffee table. Seriously.
I am on the same page as Cain here. Worst part being, I still can't seem to stop buying books (there's a B&N in Kenmore Square, so close to my office! I get a faculty/staff discount! How can I say no?!). But I'm working on being better about it.
I've almost killed my credit card and once I can start paying my bills every month and still have money to throw into savings, then I'll look into buying nice things. But right now I am living a life of extreme austerity. I have lots of ramen.
I get a 40% employee discount at B&N for working at Gamestop....It makes me glad that I rather shop at Borders or else I too would be in the hole.
Though I'm so far behind on reading anyway. Mr. Suu got me the rest of the Legacy of the Force paperbacks for Christmas, and I have yet to finish the fucking first one. :x
i dont really have the money to spare. also, i'm not really that big a fan of artbooks .. i have a few and they just sit on my shelves collecting dust..
but if it was a WOMP artbook (and i had money to spare) i'd buy it, cause that's awesomely cool :-D
Okay, I think we need to rally for a WOMP book....
CRAAAAAAAM!!!!!!
I will only buy it if you can assure me the pages won't stick together after a few weeks.

What you do with the book is your discretion. I make no such guarantee.

I barely do nudity. Things can be mildly suggestive but otherwise there's no sex or drugs. Just rock and roll. I'm working on getting more stuff up on my site because I let it get stagnant for so long I lost interest with the upkeep. But now that I have the new layout and the promise of making more monies this year (the gaming con is a completely new venue for me), I'm trying to make myself more productive.
Cool, 'cause if I bought it it would be a family thing.
How old are your kids?
4, 8 and soon-10. A bit young but I would want them to be able to peruse it safely.

To be fair, at least a third of that was for actual research/citations. But yes. It applies to any long piece of writing, in fact. I obssesively read Comment is Free if I don't have access to my books.
I don't need him to autograph it. He thanked me by screename somewhere in the book, thats good enough for me.
This is true. I'll see how my finances are come March.

Are there libraries in Scotland?
Yes.
But, the University library is partially closed down, with books from the effected sections sent to their respective departments.
Problem: IR is interdisciplinary. I often refer to history and sociology texts, others use economics and philosophy, etc. Unlike the library, which provides space for reading, the individual departments only allow loans, and obviously favour their own students over others. So in effect, we may as well NOT have one, right now.
Your educational facility is failing you.
Resort to theft.
I defrauded the Student Union by creating a society whose sole purpose was to redistribute Union funds to our individual pockets, so thats sorted. Thankfully, the University online journal access makes up for the disruption. Being able to download thousands of papers is fairly useful. But now and again, you need a modern, up to date book with the information. Especially in my case, where the earliest case studies were from the late 90s.
i'll buy it
DONE.

As you can see, there is a cheap eBook option for people like Cain. I get a $5 royalty from each sale. Support my bad habits. NOW.
YAY! :)
