...who has recently been gracing Fox News and other wingnutty news outlets.
But that would imply I felt in any way responsible for him or his actions, and even his own party aren't willing to admit that, even though many of them secretly agree with him.

QuoteMr Hannan's remarks in the US interview – which have seen him branded "eccentric" by Mr Cameron – have provided ammunition for Republicans who oppose moves by President Barack Obama to reform America's health care system. The MEP told Fox News that he "wouldn't wish [the NHS] on anyone".
What Cameron calls "eccentric", everyone else calls "World Class Tube", and to be fair tubery of this magnitude
needs to be shared with the world...
God damn, I hate the tories.
I think a recent poll showed that about 99% of people thought the NHS was awesome.
And costs half as much as the US currently spends on healthcare, too (taking into account population etc).

Not seen the poll, but I have no doubt those numbers are pretty near right.
Still, that doesn't stop the NHS being Communistical and evil badwrong.
Hannan, IIRC, was also one of the engineers of the Tory defection from the centre-right EU bloc (which includes Sarkozy and Merkel's parties) for being insufficiently anti-EU, and the creation of their Nazi-infested new bloc of European allies.
Of course, Cameron didn't even give him a slap on the wrist for that. Quite the opposite.

I have a strong inkling that whatever health care system that gets passed here will be a popular success too (unless they chicken out and neuter it too much :argh!:). That is why the Republicans are so spooked right now that they've dragged their crazy uncles out of the attic. They know that if they lose this then the rest of the world will know how irrelevant they really are. Then again, that irrelevance will also turn those crazy uncles into small terror cells.
Can you tell that I wrote this at 5 in the morning? :|
Makes sense to me, at least.

Oh I see. Not only is he a Tory, he's one of
those Tories.
First Britain, now Israel. Who next? I have bets on Japan or Australia, personally.

Pro-tip: Saying "Heil Hitler" to an Israeli citizen is bad enough, Saying it to him because he supports universal healthcare borders on the lunatic.
