Must be nice. "Life" doesn't start around here til the temp drops below 100F.
But that's not even the case. We have 30 people lurking on a weekday, and nobody posting.
Fucking sad.

I dont have a life but other people probably do :D
I've been trying to sort out real, life stuff. I failed a repeat exam and have to turn down a masters now, I'm trying to find ways so I can do the masters and sit the subject.
I don't think it's just us. About half the forums I'm on are quiet right now.
I have no excuse.
Yeah, I dunno what has been happening here, recently.
Though on the other hand, we still have a better quality of post than MW's political section, for which I am eternally grateful.
Quality over quantity.
My punner is broken.
But, I suppose that's good news. :D

What's the matter? Ayn Rand wearing a little thin?

I'm always here
I just never have anything good to say.
My brain has been quite dead lately.
Job burn out. Need new source of income.

"If you have nothing nice to say, come sit next to me."
- Alice Longstreet Roosevelt.
Heh, I've been ridiculously busy for longer than I can remember.
Oh LOL I didn't mean nice.
I meant anything other than "guh duuur fmuh guhduuuurgh"
Oh my god. I think I have redneck syndrome.
For the love of all things gross get me out of here.

I seem to have become a one line poster myself.
However, this is the only forum I go to, so it's not like some other place is getting more or better from me... :lulz:

CAPITALIST UBERMENSCH SMASH SOCIALIST-STATIST PARASITICAL LACKEY!
AND ALL ALONE, TOO!
WOOT FOR THE RUGGED INDIVIDUALIST! <--- And by "rugged individualist", we mostly mean "some guy posting about self-reliance using daddy's credit card".
Well naturally. Or else he wouldn't be an ubermensch.
I leave myself online and logged in almost all the time, including all this weekend when I wasn't even in town.
My guess is that a lot of people leave the page open and wander off to do stuff, which would make it look like there were a lot of lurkers when really they're just idle.
Personally, I'm busy having one of the best summers I've had for years, and I don't feel in the slightest bit guilty about going out and having a shit ton of fun instead of posting on an internet message board. I hope that's what everyone else is doing, too.

Can't. "Summer" here translates out to "A nice June day on Mercury".
It's just now becoming bearable out there, and by "bearable", I mean, "only sweaty, not dead of dehydration".
What's summer?

That thing they have in Italy, between the cold spells.
I thought that was teenage models. Going by Berlusconi at least.

So you're going to be out having fun and living it up when I'm home, bored, and trapped by nasty frozen crap falling out of the sky.

True. The only frozen thing that drops out of the sky here happens when aircraft coming into DM AFB release their septic tanks "accidentally".
Big blue meteors for the win.
