I love how they refer to people committing or threatening to commit suicide over "personal problems" as "attention seekers."

I'd want to commit suicide, if I lived in China.  Who'd want to live in a polluted, crowded, 19th century era like country run by inept socialist authoritarians and corrupt businessmen?  It'd be like living in Scotland, only with slightly better food.

i don't get it??  suicidal people are afraid to climb on the "suicide bridge" because its slippery and they might loose their grip and fall to their death??? :?

The idea is that they are unable to climb to a lethal height, falling before they get high enough of the ground to do themselves real injury.

why would a suicide bridge be to close to the ground to cause death? that's just the kind of lowered standards you get with Communism you want a bridge everyone can jump off of and end up with a suicide bridge to low to kill anybody..

I had been under the impression that the Chinese government wanted to reduce their nation's population anyway... What the Hell happened?!? :?

The way i see it, they dont mind people killing themselves - they just dont want it to be there.
