Chuck Full-O-Pope suggested a few Middle Earth names during the LWHN pregnancy, except, in person to my wife. She wasn't terribly fond of them.

There are still people who think we named LWHN after a car. And have suggested companion names for the new one. No, we will not be naming our child Mercedes.
Freida!
and mercedes is a good name my great grandma is named that :P
I'm not saying it isn't a good name. It's more of a commentary on the people who think we're naming our kids after cars.
Kawasaki?
Focus Hybrid
how about the "Legitimate Son/Daughter of [insert name here]"

Did you think of something to parallel the first name of LWHN? She has a pretty classical name.

We've been informally tossing around names but haven't had any serious discussions yet. I think this time around we're just going to wait until we know the gender which should be the end of this month. Basically, where I am with a name is something that isn't too common, yet, isn't too out there either.

I've always had a soft spot for 'Innana'.
Just go with whatever name you like best. If the name doesn't match the sex of the kid, just raise them as that sex. No biggie.
ZAPPA!
Ford Prefect.

also, LWHN has a classical name that sounds like that of a car? now I'm curious, too bad I don't know much about cars or car brands, especially not American ones.
Iris is a pretty name for a girl IMO. Stuff that ends with an "a" is also always good, Sara, Sandra, Amelia, Hanna(h), Evelina, Anna, Laura, Ilona, Eva ... (also apologies if some of these are the names of some horrible famous person, I wouldn't know).

Cross reference car names with Shakespearian characters with Ellen Degeneres spouses.
You called her "Heche"?
Yes, it was that scene in MacBeth that sold us, when we hear Heche cry out:
"Out spot, out damned whoop, whoop, whoop!!!"

:jebus:
Also, we're big fans of the Mitsubishi Heche. Despite the fact that it randomly loses control and crashes into ditches.
In that case, you'll probably be pleased to hear that the name actually comes from Scandanavian Myth. Heche was the goddess of irritable bowel syndrome.
