So I was out of my office for about 30 minutes. I was in the back scanning some surveys. I come back to see a little yellow square with a heart drawn on it, on top of my shift button. What's it mean? What is going on?

Office stalker. You're fooked.
Valentine heart, or anatomical?

Valentine. Looks like it was created with a Sharpie or similar felt-tipped writing utensil.

I can't. Waiting for surveys to compile.
Well, I think we can all agree that putting a valentine's heart on a shift key will lead to a capital offense.
I've seen some of the IOP kids walking back and forth so maybe it was one of them. And perhaps I'm not the only one. I shall have to do some investimigating.

Just so long as they keep their space. Though, I imagine all I need to make that happen is for them to actually meet me face to face.

What a horrible F8 that would be. Mwa-wah-waaahh!
UPDATE: The Director of outpatient got a heart too. It's not just me.
UNNNNG! I can't wait for my SHIFT to END, so I can go HOME.
DUN DUN DUNNNNN!
Quelle mystere!
I think I agree with Rog...you have a stalker. But maybe it's a nice stalker and they'll bring you cookies. (Might want to have someone TASTE the cookies first, in case there's like Rohipnol(sp?) or something in them...)
RWH1N1 has gotten into the water supply! :omg:
INSERT clever pun here.
It can't be kept under CONTROL! No matter how much SPACE I put between me and it, it keeps TABs on me!

Nah, it's not just me. the director of Outpatient came to my office to ask me if I did it. Apparently he and a few others have received the hearts as well. Must me one of the kids in treatment.

You can, if you post as an ALT.
I read once that Mark Foley went through a lot of computers when he was in Congress.
Something about wearing out the Paige Down button.

TGRR,

Not really. My mind first went to "one of the outpatient kids probably did this", and I'm pretty sure that's what happened. It really doesn't seem like the sort of thing any of the agency employees would do. And it is pretty difficult for a random stranger to just stroll into the building.
This thread is simultaneously :lulz: and :argh!:
What's funny is that today, all of a sudden, people are starting to notice them. Yesterday it was just me and one other person, now everybody is talking about the hearts. Who did it? Was it that guy? Or maybe that guy? And someone just made the riveting observation:
"Well, at least it wasn't someone running through the office with a shotgun."
Yeah, that would've slightly sucked.
That would be ironic on many levels.
